    when I initially called I was told when having our pump repaired an after work pumping was not necessary. After three weeks and many requests they still will not provide our warranty information. After a verbal promise of warranty in writing to follow they have now decided not to provide a warranty unless we get the tank pumped again. A business who does not provide warranty in writing is not anyone to do business with. Trying to work with the office was a terrible experience. I dont have time to make follow up calls to my phone calls. Every single call required a second call. Installers left my house to go get a part and never returned and never called I waited at home several hours. I called the office to find out that they went to an emergency and would not be returning that day. After the pump was replaced we had to catch up on much needed water usage. Two days later the alarm went off again, my husband checked and they had not turned on the pump switch on the side of the house. We are lucky there was no further damage due to the more than usual water usage without it using the pump. 4 months later we got a letter from the county saying we needed the pump repaired and the report filed with the county or we will be fined. I found out there was no record of their visit to our home. When I called VacTech they wanted an additional ****** to pump again and file the report with the county. I called another company who informed they are absolutely required to file that report when the lids are removed. ******* was in a big hurry to get me a quote for the new work that should have been done the first time. total rip off and I am having another company come out for that inspection. I have had many discussion with the office manager about the service and they have not accepted any responsibility for the multiple issues.

    I have used VacTec since buying my home 6-years ago to service my septic system. They have installed a new pump, alarm, filter, baffle, float, pumped the tanks, reinforced the risers and conducted the county inspections over this timeframe. They are professional, courteous, and thorough. The employees are ALWAYS technically proficient - - everyone from those that answer the phone to discuss issues and schedule service visits to the individuals that come to my home and work on my septic system (*****, ***, **********************, Nic, ****, *******, ****, ***). Today was no exception. ***** and ****** arrived at 8:15 am, quickly confirmed the issue with my pump, made the appropriate repair and were finished and out the door by 9 am. Their work was efficient and much appreciated. I asked multiple questions and they were patient when providing very understandable answers. Thanks VacTec for all you do!!
