    The city water had disconnected the people that rented this place before I bought it in August. When I bought this place I had asked them about the disconnection notice I had found they said not to worry about it that the previous owner had paid it. Now I get a letter stating that I have to pay it. I didn't even own the home and even gotten confirmation from them not to worry about it and now they're trying to extort me. Not only that the two companies the trash in the water are supposed to be completely separate but are and operate as one company there is a serious amount of fraud Happening Here and an intense investigation needs to happen. All I want is simply them to honor their word and not to worry about a disconnection from a home I didn't own yet not send me a bill several months later because the previous owner wouldn't pay them.

    Attached is a copy of the second page of Mr. ***** utility application, as you can see, under paragraph two,he signed acknowledging his responsibility for any outstanding balances owing on this property. This is because there is a utility lien held against this house. As for the trash company, we operate separate,however we do communicate with the garbage company to ensure residents have garbage service which is required per our municipal code.  Also, on page two, paragraph one of Mr. ***** application you can see he acknowledges that garbage service is mandatory.

    I am rejecting this response because: there was never any lien on my property. I never signed anything that said I owed any outstanding balance. This further illustrates my point of the fraud being committed by this company. Not once on the phone did they ever dispute that there was never a lien on my property. As I brought it up they never said anything about a lien because there wasn't one. They also stated that the previous owner already sent them a check and still they are trying to collect from me. They're trying to recoup double the funds from the person that had already paid them by their own admission and again by me.
