      I purchased 2 boneless ribeye roasts ca. April 2023 & May 2023 totaling in excess of $100. After cooking the roasts & attempting to slice the roasts, I noticed that the center was still undercooked & very tough. At the time of purchase it was impossible to determine what the central inside part of the roasts looked like. They were not properly butchered or prepared at the local Costco warehouse. There was a very thick dense slab of fat encased in very tough fibrous connective tissue that was not removed which was deceiving because from the outside it appeared fine. Alas the rib roast was mostly comprised of this fat & connective tissue leaving precious little edible meat essentially a waste. It would've been impossible to return them for a refund to the local warehouse. This is not the first incident & I no longer purchase any meat products at the local warehouse because of the drop in quality. It's not fair that I waste my hard earned money on very poor quality food products. I am also very non confrontational by nature since being diagnosed with severe PTSD it is very uncomfortable to engage in the returns process for these types of occurrences.

      Costco wants to thank you for taking the time to communicate your concerns with the 2 boneless ribeye roasts that you purchased in April and ********** ************** is one of our top priorities and I am sorry we did not deliver the quality that you expected.  Ribeye roasts have different sections to them and are typically leaner at the loin end vs. the ***** side.  My butcher and I would be happy to help you when you are able to visit next.  A NY cryovac package is cheaper in price and a leaner piece of meat.  We can also discuss that as an option in the future.  I apologize for the inconvenience and have also reviewed this with my employees in the meat department.

      I bought a Whirlpool refrigerator from COSTCO with a 1 year whirlpool warranty and a 2 year COSTCO warranty Within the Whirlpool warranty period the refrigerator stopped working on Aug 20th 2023 Over $200 worth of food spoiled A repairman from their affiliate VIA can on Saturday Aug 26 and said the compressor failed He said it could take up /to 30 days to fix because the part is on backorder I called Whirlpool today who confirmed they do not have the part I feel I was sold a defective appliance and it should be fixed quickly or replaced

      On August 25, 2023, I went to Costco #**** (*********************************************************) to pump in the gas on my car. I purchased for a car wash service ($7.99 + $0.70 tax) along with the gas service. I am very confident that my car was flawless before entering the car wash machine because it is only 2 months old. I took really good care and checked on the exterior every day. During the carwash, I have heard loud and abnormal sound from the machine. When I finished my car wash, there were 3 very noticeable deep scratches and damages on my passenger side rear door and near my fuel tank cap. These were absolutely from the defective carwash machine because I didn't see any scratches just a few minutes ago when I pumped in my gas at exactly the same area. It was still daytime and bright out so I can see very clearly of the before/after. Now, I am expected to spend thousands of dollars to get the car detailed in the hopes to get the scratches removed. The only reason that I went to Costco for a car wash is because they advertised themselves as "premium" and used foam brushes. However, apparently Costco failed their due diligence of examining the machine before operating especially knowing the station was new. I am extremely disappointed to have given my trust to Costco's brand which claimed themselves to be customer satisfaction focused. Now, I couldn't even find a proper channel to escalate this incident. I also saw on ****** review that Costco failed to commit to their quality service delivery, admit their mistakes nor compensate for similar damages on other vehicles. Therefore, I am seeking for BBB's help. Please kindly find my supporting pictures attached. Thank you so much.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I have raised many questions to the Costco claim department but I am not getting any response beside they are just repetitively saying how many times of the car wash they operated during that day. I cannot justify with their assessment:

      1. Costco had only checked with the car wash team which is the related-person of the incident. As such, the investigation is already arm's length, self-interest, and not free of bias.

      2. Each car come in different shape and size, just like each operation runs differently (i.e., timing, tiring machine that decided to act up, sudden malfunction, residuals that have not been cleaned, etc.). Just because no other vehicle owners have reported the same issue on the day of, it doesn't mean the issue does not exist. This is another form of bias. 

      3. "The damage seen is not consistent with brush patterns". This is not true because there are two horizontal scratches in a corresponding distance with each other in a very smooth curvy angle, which is a sign of machine caused instead of human caused. I am confident that the scratches were created only after the wash because they weren't there when I pumped in the gas right before the wash (same place of the vehicle). Furthermore, how do you provide evidence to support your statement without having an actual examination of the scratches by a third-party professional?

      Hi, there was an incident with Costco delivery through Instacart. They put my mom in the hospital and episode post to get credits. I am looking in my account and I cant find anything because I cant get into it. I didnt want and I dont want Costco to be delivered by Instacart but I have no choice. dont understand why youre customer service people keep hanging up for no reason when I cant find an answer. Im done here. I am talking to a lawyer about my moms insulin, so what year your Instacart driver did get there at horrible customer service in every single time I have the phone I get upset because they hang up on you when I can answer a question. Im talking to a lawyer about my moms fault. Im done here. OK I dont need to shop at Costco then Im gonna go to Save-On-Foods. My mother hit her head looking for an order put outside under a surveillance sign 300 plus meters away from my door. I call and when they cant resolve the issue they hang up. Not o my are the prices higher with Instacart but people have to suffer horrible customer from overseas. I dont know how many times I need to say this to Costco.

      I bought bedroom set 0n 10/14/2021. Costco delivered me trash set and I have to wait till march 2022 new one. new one was worse than previous one and they took everything except bed, and argue with me that it is good one. eventually I was told that they deliver portion of the set (nightstands) and reminder I have to wait for another year. it does happen in September 2022.Costco offer me refund and I agreed to purchase another set. Delivery team damaged my walls, I file complain with Costco and delivery company, nothing fixed. I have only bed from march 2022 to February 2023. I was promised by ******************************* (supervisor in Costco), that if I see this set on sale, he will adjust sale price and give me discount $500. Costco deliver me damaged set more than 10 times, and then ****************** said that I have to purchase somewhere else, and they give me refund, because vendor refuse send replacement. eventually, he issued $500 refund and left me with damaged furniture. Money for the set purchased in 2021 were returned on 4/07/23. I purchase set 9/21/2022 6 piece for $2609.99, money were returned on 1/30/2023. I also paid amount for the 5 piece bedroom set on 10/25/22. Every time they deliver me trash, I have to make pictures, and send it to ********************

      Costco offer me $1500 off from original price. I accept this part. I asked them to take care of damage walls to my apartment. Originally the lady from hq told me that Costco take care of it, but later she told she did mistake and I have to file it with company, which I did. ****************** from hq contact on my behalf with delivery company, and he told me that damage will be fixed. nothing was told that claim was closed. Also another company who deliver other set hit the same walls, but I did not file the claim, because there will be two claims in the same place. Also, one part (holding part between dresser and mirror) was damaged, and Costco told me to call handyman to fix the damage, because the company refuse to deliver this part. they can deliver furniture with pieces falling apart. I am not happy with outcome, but I want the end. I want to see Costco response and close the claim.

      Costco has fully refunded ******************** for the mirror and the dresser. After 10 attempts Costco believes that our vendor has done their due diligence to try and make it right. We have not received an itemized receipt from the member at this time to approve compensation to have the back of the mirror corrected. We have updated ******************** that we have moved her claim over to ********* ******* so they can take the appropriate steps to advocate the damage claim on her behalf. She has been assigned an adjuster and has their contact information if she has any outstanding questions regarding her claim.

      From AGM at W226 - It is unfortunate that this happened in our warehouse.  In the future, we will be more aware when our members enter the warehouse with their service animals.  If the animal does not have visible service animal distinction, we will continue to ask the member for proper documentation.  If documentation is not provided, we will not let the animal inside the warehouse and management will be involved. 

      We will also keep the sign posted outside the entrance door.

      8/14/2023: Ordered a 77" ********** from Costco.com. I paid for in-home set-up. TV was delivered 8/17/2023, but was not set up. Set up was to include one input to the *** I chose my Dish satellite. The delivery man, (I believe his name is *****), plugged in the Dish HDMI cable, but did not check to see if it worked. It did not. (That's like plugging in the TV's power, but not turning it on to see if the power works). I complained to ****** but he said that's all he is required to do. I was angry, but bit my tongue. Additionally, he made a mess in my house, leaving pieces of cardboard and Styrofoam bits all over. After he left, I finished setting up the set, only to discover the picture was poor and one HDMI input did not work. So I made arrangements to have it returned. I was called at 7:00 AM this morning (8/26/2023) by ***** informing me he would be at my house between noon and 2:00 PM to pick up the *** At 2:20 PM I still had not heard from him, so I called to check on the status of their truck. He shows up at 2:25 PM. I answered the door and said "you're late and you should have called me to let me know." He said, "It's close enough to 2 PM." That angered me, and I responded, "go upstairs and take the ***" He turned around and said "have a good day," and left without taking the ***I am beyond angry. BTW, on 8/19/23 I went to *****************, purchased a separate 77" TV, and it was delivered two days later, set up with all the inputs and I could not be happier with the set or that company.

      I am rejecting this response because: I received two phone calls from Costco's resolution ******** *************************** who was quite accommodating in granting my requests to resolve this complaint. The ** was picked up and returned, my purchase price has been refunded, and I did receive a call from the supervisor of the trucking employee who rudely left me hanging in the lurch; however, she also stated she would send me a $200 Costco shop card and an email with her contact information, and I have not received this as of this date. I have tried to contact *******, but the phone number she left me has a voicemail box that is not set up. Perhaps she is emailing me at the wrong address.       The shop card was mailed out on 9/1.  The postal service in this area has experienced delays in delivery so it is not surprising that the member did not receive it in the 3 days they say.  I live around the building and get emails with scanned images of my mail and sometimes will not actually receive it for a week.

      The member paid $249.99 for their item #******* bought in house on 6/12/23 and saw a similar product  #******* online for $289.99 minus a $50 instant rebate making a net price of $239.99.  While we only match exact items, the warehouse made an exception and created a shop card for the $10 difference in price and mailed it to the member on 9/1/23.  The member is not due $50 but only the $10 difference in what the net price was online to the price they paid inhouse.

      I bought a travel package to Napa Valley through Costco at *************************** for $1890.27 on June 26, 2023. The package included a hotel room for 4 nights and a rental car for 4 days. It also had some extras included: a daily $50 food and beverage credit, and a $200 credit per stay. We spent the daily credit at the restaurants and had a balance. We also went to the spa and informed them that we wanted to apply our $200 credit towards this service. We checked out on July 4th at **** am. I was told I had a balance of $492, which was a lot more than we expected. I requested an itemized description of the charges. The front desk person told me they could not give me one because she did not know how to print it. Then, she talked to another employee in the lobby. He said the system did not provide one. I told them as a customer it was my right to have a description of the charges. Finally, they printed two pages that do not really say much. This information is not itemized or clear. However, it was clear they did not apply the $200 credit to the spa charges. I requested to speak to the manager. However, he did not pick up the call the employees made. They told me he wasn't on the property and would return at 1 pm. My flight was at 2. They gave me his phone number and charged my credit card. I called the number at least 4 times and left messages. No one returned my calls. I contacted Costco. I told them about the situation and the fact that the resort was not honoring what I had been offered and paid. They opened a claim (MSI0198298) and told me it could take up to 4 wks to get an agent assigned to it. I waited and called back after 5 wks. They said they had many claims and were behind. I told them I would make a complaint with you if I did not get assistance. I spoke to a manager who assigned my claim to ************ and said it would be resolved in a week. It has been 2 wks already. I have called ********** twice and left messages. He has not returned my calls.

      Costco did not reach out to me on 08/11. It was me who contacted them after almost 6 weeks of waiting.  They did contact me on 08/26, the day after I contacted you and after I called  them and left voice messages without any response. 
      However, ******************* said he did not have the right information to contact the resort until late that week and was waiting for them to reach back. If they do business with this hotel, how it  is possible he did not have they right phone number. 
      His message, it is far from resolving my problem. My bank already paid for those charges.
