      Invoice #**** Ticket #1-69581 4/22 - I took my iPad to the Issaquah location of One Hour Device Repair; the tech told me they didnt have the necessary part on hand but could order it for me if I made a deposit. I made the deposit at that time, ~$170 5/6 - After much back and forth, my iPad is still not repaired, but I pick it up anyway because I cant continue waiting. At that time, the tech says the computer software wont let him issue a refund without manager approval; he cant get ahold of his manager, cant give me a phone number for the manager; suggested I email ******************************* 5/9 I have emailed three times, no reply, no call, no refund I am filing this complaint seeking a refund, and to report the bizarre business practices of One Hour Device Repair.

      Date of the transaction: July 28, 2023 Amount paid: $468.86 Service that this business committed to offer: screen repair for iPhone 13 Pro **** My phone screen was broken, only the surface glass was impacted so every other functionality worked perfectly - it's responsive to finger touch points and the screen brightness auto adjustment worked perfectly before they perform the repair. I could not secure an appointment with Apple Genius Bar for same day repair and I saw on their website that they offer screens that are *** parts (genuine Apple parts) that's why I visited their store. I was told during my first visit to their store on July 2nd that they need to order the screen so I need to wait for a few days, which matched the description on their website where *** parts have a lead time. So I was under the impression that I am getting my phone's screen repaired using an *** Apple certified part. However, that is not the case. They replaced the screen with an aftermarket product and now the brightness auto adjustment does not work at all. I have tried to work with this business for countless times. The solution that the business owner offered was to order an *** part and do another replacement. They tricked me to drive to their ********** times by saying the part had arrived and I can get my screen replaced, but every time I was sent home because they do not have the *** screen. And now they are not returning my calls at all. At this point I'm not trusting them to do a proper repair to fix the issue. My desired solution can be any of the below: I need them to either refund me the full amount that I paid for, plus compensate my time spent on communicating with them regarding this issue. OR I take my phone to the Apple Genius Bar, and have them reimburse me the repaid cost without returning the aftermarket screen that they supplied (because Apple does not release the screen replacement, just like they did not release my old screen)
