I pay monthly for a home warranty so that when major thing happen I do not have to pay out of pocket when I may not have the money. My company is First American Home Warranty and I pay $73 per month and then $100 every time I file a claim. On September 26 I filed a claim with First American because my air was not working so the insurance contracted Custom Heating and cooling to work on my issue. At first, they were very quick to show up and claimed to have fixed the issue. However, the furnace worked for 3 days and stopped blowing out any air when on air or heat. They were quick to come back on September 29 to tell me that the motor in my furnace was no longer working and that it would affect my air and heat. I was told by the gentleman that he could have the part by the following Monday. At that time the weather was fine, and we could make do with a few fans so I did not worry too much because I assumed they would have it fixed before it got cold, and I would need my heat. I am the care giver for my 74-year-old mother who has many illnesses so I was hopeful and sure they would have the heat fixed. Fast forward to today I am still in my house with no heat. I have contacted the insurance and gotten everything approved. I have contacted the contractor many times and all I describe those conversations as being gas lite and told that the part needed to be picked up and that they were short staffed. Alot of companies are short staffed but most do not make a 74 year old women with dementia live in a house with no heat. I cannot move her to another house because I am the only family she has. And unless someone comes up with a Corp credit card, I cannot afford to take her to hotel. Can someone please help me with this issue there is so much more that will not fit in this small box. Basically I have been waiting 7 weeks for my furnace to be fixed and the weather is only going to get worse. Thank you for your help *********************

Contacted business and they claim they will be setting up an appointment on Monday 11/12/2023 to come and complete the job. But I have been told many things by this company so I will believe when they show up at my door. When I have heat in my house I will withdraw my complaint.

      Thank you
