    We were contacted by a representative from Genesis Smart Homes who talked us into discontinuing our *************** and installing the ***************** Within a couple of days we could tell this wasn't going to work for us because of vision issues we have. We've gone back to ******** My complaint with Genesis is their lack of communication with their customers. It's VERY DIFFICULT to reach these people by phone; any messages left are never returned. E-mail communication is also never acknowledged or answered. It took a month for us to get our refund for the ******** equipment; we wondered if it was ever going to come through. At every opportunity we will tell people we come into contact with to run as fast and as far away from doing anything with this company. The only reason we're giving them one star is because our money was finally returned.

    Genesis Smart Homes and its representatives made fraudulent misrepresentations as to equipment and installation to a DISH Satellite TV operating system in our home. Due to the misrepresentations homeowner allowed Genesis to install equipment which made our DISH Satellite TV account inoperable. The installation rendered our DISH TV inoperative.They are charging homeowners $750 for the inappropriate and unauthorized installation and we are demanding a refund and damages to return our DISH TV Satellite equipment to proper operating condition as before the fraudulent actions of Genesis Smart Homes.So far Genesis Smart Homes have been nonresponsive to our demands to refund these amounts or correct this problem.
