I am filing this complaint to All city transmission regarding a failed repair on my vehicle and are refusing to honor their written warranty. On 3/13/25 I took my 2013 ***** civic lx to all city transmission for a repair. The shop diagnosed it was a pressure switch. I paid ******. The drive home the car was fine but the next day in the morning on my drive to school the code turned back on. I was furious, after school I got the car scanned and the very same codes popped up as the scan I did before I took my car to the shop. The business provided me a 1 year warranty against workmanship defects, stating any issues caused by their work, would be covered. However when I took my car back, they claimed that the issue was now another problem and refused to refund me. On 3/31/25 I attempted to resolve this issue directly with the shop but refused for a refund, given the repair didnt fix the issue I want my money back. Sincerely ********* *****, contact me if any more information is needed

Customer called today stating that the same "code" returned again and he had a family member look at it and they told him that we did not replace the pressure switch.  I advised customer that we absolutely did replace the pressure switch.  I walked through with him again the original diagnostics steps that we took when we had his vehicle in the shop on 3/20/2025.  The vehicle originally had two codes in the system P0848 and P0843 - we cleared the codes and test drove the vehicle and no issues were detected and the code did not return immediately and the transmission functioned normally.  We let the vehicle sit and then test drove it again and during the second test drive the check engine light returned and code P0843 was retrieved.  At that time the technician racked the vehicle and tested the wiring to the pressure switch related to code P0843 and the wiring tested good.  We then swapped two pressure switches and the code moved with the bad pressure switch.  We then obtained approval from the customer to replace the bad pressure switch.  Post repair and final test drive the code did not return.  Customer returned with the vehicle on 3/26/2025 and stated the same code returned.  I advised him at the time that he dropped off the vehicle that it is unlikely that the pressure switch is defective and that most likely there is another issue going on with the vehicle that could potentially cause the switch to fail, but that we would inspect the vehicle again at no charge and if the switch itself was defective we would replace that under warranty.  However during this visit the code P0843 was not active it was "stored", so we again tested the wiring and monitored the data and the pressure switch were functioning as they should.  We did clear the code and attempt another test drive however the vehicle fuel gauge read low fuel.  So after talking with the customer he said that would take the vehicle repair the fuel gauge and make sure it had fuel in it and if the code came back again he would let me know and I advised him we would continue to diagnose the problem, but again advised him that if the pressure switch is intermittently causing a code to appear after the replacement of the pressure switch it is most likely another issue with the vehicle causing the problem and that would need to be addressed.  Customer was expecting us to repair whatever the underlying cause under the same original repair costs and I advised him that is not how the "workmanship" warranty works. That our warranty will cover if the switch is defective and at this time we cannot confirm a defective pressure switch.
