      ON 10/22/24 BOUGHT 2 OZ OF GOLD FOR 5615.OO PAID CASH. WAS TOLD IT WOULD TAKE 1 WEEK. NOW OVER TWO WEEK LATER NOTHING AND WILL NOT ANSWER HIS PHONE. JUST NOW READ REVIEWS AND LOOKS LIKE HE IS A THIEF AND A SCAMMER.

      My wife purchased a small amount of silver for me as a gift from this store that they had on hand. She asked about gold but was told they didn't have any and they would have to order it and she would have to pay for it in advance. She felt something was off and didn't proceed with the gold purchase.Some time later I decided to use the same place to order 77 rounds of silver. I paid up front and was told it would be there in a week or so. It's now nearing 2 years since I paid. I've been there several times always told "next Tuesday I should have some". I've called over 30 different times. Always the same story. I've asked for my money back and of course he "doesn't have it right now". It's always tomorrow or some other pathetic excuse.I wish I had seen the other reviews here before going to this guy. He is a pure fraud. For others reading this - stay away and find another dealer.I'm pursuing this by filing reports with the ******************************* (and others). For those that have been ripped off by this guy too, please consider doing the same.

      I have been a Staggs customer and friend of **** since the 1980s. I had ******************* a silver bar I had, about 8 years ago and asked him to hold the silver until the price hit $50 per. About 4-5 years back I decided to take back some of the silver a little at a time. Staggs provided me silver until **** died 3 years ago. Though I now live in ******* I had made a yearly trip to *******. Id call **** about 5-6 times a year. For the last 3 years I have asked **** to return the ********************************************** Each time I call he promises me when I come by he will have 100s of onces for me. He knows a month ahead of time with a reminder a week before when Ill be in town. He promises me h*** have 100s of onces then. The last year he handed me a few onces and this year didnt have any, promising me, as he has for the last 3 years h*** send it to me. I know other coin dealers in the area, that while sympathetic to ****s plight, have informed me he continues to do similar things to other customers. I have know **** since he was a kid. It saddens me to take this step. I know his father would be hurt by ***** actions if he knew. I just want my 5O0 ounces of silver back. I hold no ill will towards ****. But its time to take this step. I hope the BBB can help me get my silver back from Staggs. Thank you.

      Gave this business money to order some bullion 3 separate times within 2 months of each other. Have not received any of the orders and first one is over 10 months old. He refuses to make it right.Keeps saying he will have it in a day or two but never does. Just gives me the runaround.

      date of transaction: Nov 20 2023 amount paid: $20,070.00 this was for 10 - 1oz gold bars after 7 weeks of waiting for delivery I asked for a full refund and was given a check for the full amount and told the check would be good later that day. Per their bank the check is still not good almost 6 months later.All I have gotten from ******************* are promises that have yet to come to fruition.

      On 12/15/22 I went to Stagg's , which is basically a coin shop, to order 5 Gold Eagles and 200 Silver 1 oz rounds at a cost of *********. I wrote a check and was told six weeks waiting time and I will receive a call for pick-up. The time window went by, I made many phone calls over the next SEVEN months with endless promises of "just one more week". In July 2023 he agreed to refund my original money plus the rise in Gold and Silver prices, and thirty extra Silver rounds. On 8/11/23 I went to the shop and he wrote me a check for ********* and said wait until next week to deposit....he will call me when I can deposit. In six days it will be one month, I call every week with more promises of "next week" Please contact this shop and advocate for my money back
