I sincerely felt harassed to get a loan as Ms. ******* ****** continually pushed for me to take out a loan and continually called me uncooperative times when I would say that it was something I could not do. (I already have a second mortgage; I just cannot do another loan.) I was in tears and my frustration grew while on this call. My $100 a month was not accepted. This is a medical bill from a *************** (Total $3,441.89). Words are not enough to describe the demeaning way Ms. ****** handled the situation. To imply (make me feel) it was my fault that I did not follow up and my fault that it was not explained correctly. I am not responsible for the training (or lack of) that she gives her employees. That is NOT my job. She continually PUSHED me to get a loan. She had told my husband that she mentioned it to me. It was Beyond mentioning it. (My husband had to take over as Ms. ****** truly brought me back to the edge.) This was a medical bill from a ***************, not from buying jewelry or something. There needs to be some level of humanity within Ms. ******* Ms. ****** would not accept my $100. She stated how long it would take to pay, and the interest I would have to pay. I said ok. She then said no, that her goal is to get things paid as fast as possible and that is not fast enough for her. (I have since ended my 401K.) Defeated, I said to go ahead and do (as she worded it) the legal process (garnishment) that she kept threatening. I was fully defeated and was still being called uncooperative so many times for not pursuing a loan, and unaware of another way to get more money. I felt BULLIED into a corner. I can't imagine any company supporting the mannerism and tactics Ms. ****** had used to collect a medical debt. I am in the process of sending letters and emails. In my letters and emails, I plead with them to listen to the recording of the phone call. If they accept her tactics, I will have to accept that, but shame on those that allow this.

Subject: Violations of Federal and State Debt Collection Laws and Consumer Rights Dear consumers/Chapman Finacial Services I am writing to bring to your attention the alarming and unethical practices employed by Chapman Financial Services, a division of MST, in their debt collection activities. It has come to my attention that your organization has violated the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (*****) as well as ****************'s ***************** Act (RCW *****) and Consumer Protection Act (RCW *****). These violations include but are not limited to, the following:1. Threatening Legal Action: Chapman Financial Services, in their communication with consumers, has resorted to threatening to obtain a judgment unless the consumer pays the alleged debt. However, such threats constitute a violation of the ***** (15 USC ****e) which prohibits the use of false, deceptive, or misleading representations in connection with the collection of any debt.2. Refusal to Provide Accurate Debt Verification: Despite the consumer's rightful request for debt verification, Chapman Financial Services has failed to provide accurate information regarding the alleged debt. This failure to comply with the ***** (15 USC ****g) infringes on the consumer's right to verify the validity of the debt.3. Failure to Communicate: Chapman Financial Services has repeatedly refused to communicate with the consumer, thereby hindering the resolution of the alleged debt issue. This behavior violates both the ***** (15 USC ****c) and ****************'s ***************** Act (RCW *****.250), which require debt collectors to communicate with consumers in a fair and respectful manner.Furthermore, it has been observed that Chapman Financial Services operates as a debt mill, deliberately targeting individuals who fall behind on their debts and cannot afford legal representation to defend themselves against litigation. Stone Bridge Reentry Services would like to hear from others harmed.

I am unable to verify that Chapman Financial Services and **************** have any sort of business relationship.  If **************** could provide additional information regarding an account, then our office can review further.

Chapman Financial Services treats every consumer with dignity and respect. We also have a very strong compliance management policy to ensure that our representatives follow all local, state, and federal laws.

Threatened potential jail time which is a ridiculously gross tactic. Filthy little scumbags lurking around in these offices.Couldnt have chosen a cheaper or worse option for a debt collector. These are small ******, spineless, poorly trained nightmare peddlers that do not effectively communicate and use the scare tactics of the 18th century ****************

I am unable to locate any business relationship with ***********************. If. *************** would provide additional details regarding his account then further review can take place.

Chapman Financial Services treats all consumers with dignity and respect and our employees would not threaten anyone.
