    I paid an immigration consultant $2000 for filling of asylum and work authorization.For more than a year he hasnt done.All efforts to contact him has been unsuccessful. Can you help me get my money back?

    This immigration firm has taken 6500$ on false promises to provide immigration services but never responded since then related to service. I tried calling them almost once every week and later every month but no answers from them. In 3 years, they answered only 1-2 times and always provides me with false hope of refunding my money. I have attached text messages snapshot where owner promised to return my money back but never kept his promises. Its been more than 3 years that I have been waiting for refund. Two months back again, ****** did answered my phone and promise to send me checks but I have never received anything. I have long proof of chat history where this person committed to refund but never landed on his promise. Date of the transaction: 01/13/2021 Amount of money paid to the business: 6500$what business committed to provide: immigration services for which they took 6500$ in advance and 6500 to be taken afterwards.Nature of dispute: Fraud, as their CEO ******************* ***** took money and never delivered any services. hardly answered phone call 1-2 times after that and if answered always did false promises to refund money. Whether or not business tried to resolve the problem : NEVER

    I have already called BBB office and this complaint from client is being resolved and customer had already contacted ******************** to remove the complaint .

     

    client gave money to first immigration for service but last year company owner changed and company was sold out to me *********************** and I was just an employee when client paid fee to company and since I took over the company and client is instead of old owner is faulting me personally .

     

    i talk to consumer and we have resolved the issue and BBB can remove the complaint

    Hi ******,

     

    This is regarding case that I have filed against First Immigration with case Id as  22110439. I have been waiting for refund since 2021 and business owner only started responding after I filed complaint against him on BBB platform.

     

    I am not sure on what next needs to be done as business owner agreed to pay me back in multiple installments until he pays the amount in full.

     

    If I close my case now and he failed to pay my next installment, can I open the case again? Or keep the case open until all installment are received?

     

    Please advise.
