    I placed a piano for consignment and signed an agreement with Stage 7 Pianos 4/15/19, then didn't hear from them until 12/22/21 after repeated email inquiries saying they still had the piano. On 6/5/23, after another inquiry they said it had sold recently and they would be able to pay me soon. After repeated attempts to follow up, including stopping by the business once, I have still not been paid. The agreement was to market the piano for $11,500 to start, then reduce to $9,000 at the lowest. If there were lower offers I was to be asked in writing to accept or deny, and I would be paid 65% of the actual sale price within 30 days of the sale date. On 6/12/23 I was informed by email that the piano had sold recently for $8,000, without my approval, and that I was owed $5,200, which I still have not received. I have not been told when it sold or shown any receipt confirming the sale price. I contacted the owner ********************* again by email 8/28/23 saying I would be filing a complaint with the BBB, he responded that he would be mailing a cashier's check to me Tuesday or Wednesday 8/29/23 or 8/30/23 and send me a picture of the check, which has not happened as of the filing of this complaint at 4:30 pm today 8/30/23, so I am proceeding with this complaint.

    Hello, thank you for following up. The company did respond to me by mailing me a cashier's check for the amount owed shortly after I first filed the complaint. Thank you for your efforts.
