On Feb 28, 2023 I went in for a cleaning at Dr ********************* dental office where my wife and I have been clients for several years. My dental insurance had changed and I asked the front desk to check if I was still in network and if not then I did not want any extra services. I was assured that they felt I was in network and the dental hygienist did imaging. Around April I received a check from my insurance company for the dental work but I had not received an itemized invoice from Dr ********************* office. It wasn't until December 2023 that I received a non-itemized bill from Dr ******************** and then a week later a second bill stating that my account has been sent to collection. I called Dr ********************* office 3 times within a week(about mid December) after the second billing statement and spoke to someone in billing who told me the billing manager would return my call. I never received a call back so I emailed the office. I then called Dr ********************* dental office a third time, spoke with **** again who said she would transfer me and then hung up. At this point, I felt I am at a dead end trying to work with Dr ********************* billing manager. The billing manager did email me and said a billing statement was sent out since May. I never received any mail and my mail forwarding was working just fine for all my other bills. In addition, I have Informed Delivery that shows scanned photos of incoming mail and I checked a week after the alleged mailings of billing statement and did not see any evidence of mail from Dr ********************* office.I would like Dr ********************* office to retract the collections on my account, send me an itemized bill and contact me for payment as there is no option to pay on his website and I have had no success in contacting Dr ********************* office to make payment.
