On 6/21/22 I reached out to WA Interiors by Jasmine for house staging services for the home in Shorline I was preparing to sell. On 6/27/22 we signed a contract via ************ paid a $745 deposit (discounted $5 from the 50% of $1500 total because she wanted to buy dishes we weren't taking with us on our move). Throughout our conversations leading up to/after signing our agreement, Jasmine talked extensively about her other clients success & how she had an "in" with Wayfair to get luxurious furnishings to use for our staging - she said she could pretty much get anything she wanted from ********** would be amazed at how our property looked for our listing photos, which were scheduled to be taken at 1pm on 7/21/22 (three weeks later). In our contract, she stated that she would provide professional staging & designing for all rooms in the house, the front deck, & back porch... & that her staging would include over $12,300 in inventory among other things. The day of our scheduled photo shoot for the listing I arrived at my house 45 minutes before our photographer was scheduled to find she had only put a small handful of things scattered across a couple of rooms & that most of the house was still totally empty (except for furniture we contracted for me to leave as part of the staging). After asking for my key and money back, & for her to vacate the premises she initially said she was sorry for not completing the *************** give me a refund. She then became more and more agitated until she just left in the middle of our conversation with my house key, money, and leaving all her stuff. I had to eventually threaten legal action to simply get my key back and her stuff out. She then started to say my ********** felt threatening... She eventually refunded the 2nd payment of $750 but now says she isn't giving me another cent despite having admitted that she didn't fulfill the contract. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. My realtor says this is fraud.
