    on October 7th at 8:34 am i placed an online order (check in # WZ41-5335355) i arrived at mcdonalds at 8:40am to pick up the order from the counter. No one was at the counter and i could not get any workers attention for almost 10 minutes. When i finally got a worker, she printed out my order receipt and said it hadnt been started yet and goes to the back, she comes back a few minutes later stating they just need to put my hashbrown in the bag. After 5 more minutes of being ignored and no food, had to leave to get to work on time. I immedietly called the location and asked for a refund do to not receiving my order. The manager stated she couldnt give a refund unless i came back. I advised her to cancel the unfullfilled online order and refund my money. The manager laughed/snickered kept ***eating my name to me saying i have to come back. I then hang up and call Mcdonalds corporate customer service line and spoke to a *** who stated she would issue a refund and someone will reach out to me. I then started getting a series of emails from "pissed off mcdonalds customer" asking for my feedback on the matter. It is now 8 days later and i still have not received a refund. I got another email this morning stating they tried to call me but i have no calls or voicemails. Mcdonalds employee "Freida" is stating they cannot issue me a refund and want to give me a mcdonalds gift card instead. This is totally unacceptable and i want a full refund for my order that i never received. $5.92. I will not go back to mcdonalds do to this being the 3rd time i have had issue. I want a full refund ASAP to the form of payment i used . A gift card is not acceptable.

    We did offer this customer either a BOG card or a gift card but she declined both.  Those cards can be used at any location, she does not have to come back to our location.  We cannot issue refunds over the phone and she did not want to come back to the restaurant.  We also tried to call her but she never picked up so our only correspondence has been by email.  We still want to make this right if the customer would be willing to take a gift card.
