  Unprofessional customer service on the phone when trying to get our propane tank filled after purchasing a home with the tank on it. I was told there was no history of the tank having been serviced by Active in the past and they refused to service the tank. I was told to call the other propane companies to track down who owned the tank previously for servicing. The next company also had no history of servicing our tank but made an effort at providing customer service and information. After we had the second company take us on as a customer and fill our tank, ********************** mailed us a bill for leasing the tank. I contacted Active and was again treated poorly on the phone so I asked to speak with a supervisor. ****** called me and told me the tank was indeed his even though his receptionist checked and found no such record or billing for this tank location. I told ************** was happy with the second propane company and wanted to stick with their services. ******* told me he would have his tank collected and I told him I wasnt going to have the tank leave the property until I used the propane that I had paid for from the second company. ****** told me I could call him when I was ready to switch tanks from the second company and I agreed. I next received a bill from active for $50 of propane which I had not requested nor been offered by Active. Active had added propane to a tank they initially was not theirs and now wanted me to pay for propane from them I didnt want or need. The propane billed by Active was twice the cost of the propane I purchased from the second company who provided actual customer service and information. ********************** practices sneaky business with poor communication and deceptive practices.
