My husband purchased me a gift certificate for auto detailing from Dynamic Auto Detailing for Christmas 2022. At the time of purchase the owner informed him it was good for a year. Which would be December 2023. We made an appointment and he cancelled short notice because his wife had medical issues and they had to travel. We understood the severity and we gracious. Due to the medical issue he told us we gave them time because in our experience it is a few month process. I called to make an appointment. The owner was very rude and short stating they expired in July. I told him we were told it was good for a year. He was confrontational stating well why would you wait so longI stated because you were out of town dealing with medical issues. We waited roughly 3-4 months after the first appointment and well within the year timeframe we were told. We have asked for a refund in order to receive a detail someone else. He is attempting to say we were rude and belligerent which is not the case at all. Once I left a review on ****** he texted my husband that they were going to honor it (despite being firm they would not accept it previously) until I wrote the review. We were happy to remove the post if he was willing to return the money we spent for the gift certificate. We just want our money back at this point because we do not trust him to not damage our vehicle.
