I dont typically leave bad reviews, but my experience has prompted this. I visited last year for microneedling before my big day, purchasing a package that included three chemical peels and three microneedling sessions. The initial treatments were performed by an amazing esthetician named ***. However, for my second microneedling appointment, she had graduated, and a different student used a cheaper numbing cream that burned my face and caused a bad reaction. Despite my discomfort, the student insisted on proceeding, which resulted in significant pain, forcing me to ask her to stop.Afterward, I informed the front desk about my experience and requested either the proper numbing cream or a full refund. Manager **** promised me a refund last summer, but here I am, nearly a year later, with no refund received. Calls to inquire about it have gone unanswered, and I only received a voicemail from director *** stating my appointment was considered complete with only a partial refund.Ive been patient, but it seems unfair to mark my appointment as completed when I didnt receive the service. I still have two microneedling sessions left and request either the effective numbing cream or a full refund, as promised. I did told them that if this isn't resolved soon, I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Its essential that students arent trained under such unfair circumstances. If a manager promised to give a full refund then I must receive it, especially since I didnt finish my treatment!

    Dear Taiba,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We sincerely apologize for any frustration or discomfort youve encountered. Your satisfaction and well-being are extremely important to us, and we regret that we did not meet your expectations.

As explained in our phone calls, you used 5 of the 6 treatments of your package. Your refund for your 1 remaining treatment was quickly refunded after your initial call. And a credit was placed on your account for an additional treatment. We understand your concerns about the numbing cream and your remaining session. There is a note on your account regarding your numbing cream discomfort. Please know that we take your feedback seriously and would like the opportunity to make things right. We would love to discuss a resolution that ensures you feel valued and heard.

At your earliest convenience, please reach out to our management team directly ******************************************************* or at ************, so we can personally address your concerns and work toward a fair solution. Your feedback also helps us improve, and we will be reviewing our processes to prevent situations like this in the future.

    We truly value your business.

    Best,

For about a year I have been going here. If you go to their social media or bookings page, you will find they have near a perfect 5 star rating. Or at least 4 on other media pages, which is good considering they are a "training school", not a normal spa. That is in their name with "Institute". *** does an awesome job making sure everyone is competent before working on clients!! But services are discounted here because students are doing the work. *** does check on them. However, out all the waxing and lash extensions, I have only had 1 bad experience. That was with 1 person who was learning lash extensions. They were okay, not great, but I was her 3rd client. It is an add on certification for Master Estheticians, everyone learns somewhere, and they were $125 vs $175!! If you go here, great for facials and body waxing at a discounted rate.
