We recently had a bathroom remodel completed and Valley Plumbing installed new shower unit that included a shower head and a hand held unit. My wife purchased the unit from a local plumbing wholesaler and it was still in the box. Valley was hired by our contractor to install the unit and did so. The first time we used it, the hand held unit continued to spray, even when it should have been fully diverted to the shower head. Valley came out and replaced the faulty component and then sent us a bill to "repair" the brand new unit they had installed. Several conversations with Valley's plumbing manager and it was clear to us that they operate on the fringes of integrity by indicating that the part must have broken between the time it was installed and the next day when we used the shower for the first time. I do not begrudge anyone that wants to make an honest living. Unfortunately, after this transaction, I am not sure that is their goal. Strongly recommend you proceed with caution, or move on to the next listing.

I don't think anyone would fault a company that does not warranty a product that they did not provide or purchase. Mr. ******** wife purchased a shower head unit from a different company and then had us install it. Unfortunately, the cartridge was faulty/defective, which sometimes happens. This part would be very hard to break by our plumbers during installation.
Once learning that the Sharpes were having problems, our plumbers immediately came out to replace the cartridge with one that worked. I don't think charging labor to fix this problem is a question of integrity. If it was a product purchased from us, there would have been no charge for the labor. We warranty all products that are purchased from our company.
