On Nov 4, 2013 I paid $125 to Missing Worlds Media through Kickstarter. The purchase was for a video game that was supposed to come out in 2015. This never happened so I waited to see if it would happen. Other people who have pledged to support this campaign reported that they have had their money refunded as late as 2019. Starting on April 2, 2022 and continuing on through today, I've sent Missing Worlds Media 28 messages through Kickstarter and have had all of my messages ignored. They repeatedly ignore most people and have given only a few refunds to my knowledge.

This letter is to provide a response to the complaint recieved via postal mail on May 27th, 2022.

The complaint recieved was as follows:

Our response to the complaint is thus this:

Missing Worlds Media (MWM) partially fulfilled the kickstarter in 2019 and has been improving it since. All backers have been provided access to the video game product via the contact e-mail given to us in 2013.
After the completion of our Kickstarter in 2013, we announced that the proper means to communicate with our company was with a dedicated email address (********************************). Any concerns can be directed to that address, where they will be dealt with accordingly. Due to the fact that the complainant did not use this communications channel for making the request, the refund request was not received. The complainant is recommended to contact the provided email address at their convenience.

I am rejecting this response because I sent Missing Worlds Media an email on June 02, 2022 requesting a refund and am still being ignored. What was released in 2019 was a character creator, this does not constitute partial fulfillment or even a game. The game was promised to come out in 2015, however, I understand there can be delays which is why I continued to wait. In 2019 when the character creator came out, I had hoped more would be on the way, which is not the case. I have been very patient, waiting almost 10 years for a game that was promised to be released 7 years ago, I would like a full refund of my $125 pledge.

    Sincerely,
