TW: abuse I was sent here on referral from my primary, Jennifer and all her staff were rude and cold. Seems like there’s a vibe to look down upon people who are on state insurance and sent in as referrals. I was treated like how you would at a car dealership, there was no transparency regarding the actual procedures or the process that it would take for me to get braces. During my time with Jennifer, she blatantly pointed out how I bite my nails (keep in mind I’m neurodivergent and it’s a way to self soothe it’s not necessary something I can control). She proceeded with pointing it out and how “it’s a terrible habit” and then said “it’s a form of self mutilation, maybe that will help you stop”. Absolutely disgusting behavior from someone who has spent decades working in health care and around both children and adults. I didn’t even realize how condescending she was until recently when I realized this experience gave me a fear of getting my dental care. I’m taking the time to share this so people who read this can be aware of the mean girl behavior present in this space. Not to mention after my consultation with Jennifer they had a very special sales person (I don’t remember her name but it was a lady with blonde hair) who took me into an office and tried to sell me on how “good” their prices and deals were. After I told her I wasn’t going to sign any contracts that day or commit to a package, she was utterly upset and quickly walked me to the door. This place is not helping people, it doesn’t seem like their intentions are in the right place. I hope there’s been change in this office space and in Jennifer since my personal (and very horrible) experience. Jennifer’s behavior and actions have caused me emotional distress and I’ve felt so much shame for the things I cannot control

on the zoom meeting I was told that my son who is 9 can walk in by myself and I stay on the zoom. While he is in the office by myself. Ummm hard no as we havnt been here in years I don't trust him walking in by myself with the world we live in today. Being so close to a park in ride, and not knowing the staff as well as we do with our normal dentist. Me not being able to go back and ask my questions or even make sure my son is comfortable wasn't ok with me. Dr ********************** Meader made the expectation and allowed me to go back to which wasn't even a room just the hallway and proceeded to make me feel vary uncomfortable about wanting to come back with my 9 year old son. She said we want parents to come back if they ask and we will get you a chair and heck you can sit on my lap if you want, exact words from her in front of my son. That comment alone was vary inappropriate and made her aware of what she said was. And keep in mind this was in the hallway outside of other patients in rooms. We never went to room she looked at my sons teeth in the hallway and it was a 5 min or less of her examing his mouth that was it. We left I did make another appointment just to give them another chance. This time was alot smoother check in via zoom still and I was able to go back to the waiting room with him. Until Dr ********************** Meader and another employee were talking and argue in the hallway around the ****** from us. The employee expressed how she needs to not talk with her employees the ways she does and it's inappropriate and rude. They argue a bit about it. And lastly the employee got onto the walkie talkies and said the same thing they had been arguing about over the walky talkies for every patient room to hear. I told our normal dentist office about our interaction and our dentist said and appoiglozed for the experience we had and they were glad I said something to them and that they will note that and not send patients to them.
