  ****, the owner of J&C Contractors, came recommended by an interior designer friend who has worked with him multiple times. From our very first interaction, we knew we were in great hands. ***** ******* and their entire team are not only skilled craftsmen but also incredibly professional, reliable, and a pleasure to work with.They have completed a variety of projects in our home, ranging from a full gut renovation of a bathroom to more cosmetic updates like painting, trim work, and other finishing touches. We were so pleased with their work that we recently had them return to tackle additional projects, and we plan to continue working with them for as long as theyre willing!If you're looking for a contractor who is trustworthy, skilled, and genuinely cares about their clients and the quality of their work, we wholeheartedly recommend J&C Contractors. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found them and look forward to many more home projects together!

  I couldnt be happier with the results from J&C Contractors, LLC! **** and his crew remodeled my master bedroom along with our garage and the transformation is amazing. They worked quickly, stayed on schedule, and delivered high-quality results with great attention to detail. Their professionalism and work ethic truly stood out.   We worked with **** and the ******** on a major renovation throughout *********, adding a ***** sq ft second-story addition to our 1909 craftsman home. They managed to preserve the character and architectural integrity of our original house, which was extremely important to us, while extending it upward. The new level blends perfectly, so unless you saw the house under construction, I truly believe youd never guess it wasnt part of the original design.The addition J&C led includes three bedrooms (including a primary suite), two bathrooms and a reading nook upstairs, and the team also reconfigured the main floor by opening up a bedroom to create a cozy family nook off the kitchen. They completed essential structural work as well, including full earthquake retrofitting.Throughout the project, **** and his team were very professional. Their attention to detail, thoughtful recommendations, clear communication, and commitment to staying on budget were fantastic. They worked hard every day and kept us informed throughout the project. We SO LOVE how the house turned out, as this was a huge project, and J&C exceeded our expectations. We definitely plan to work with **** again in the future. Highly recommend!

  J&C Contractors did an extensive renovation of our kitchen, laundry, and powder room. It was a total to the studs (& beyond) project, and **** and his team were fantastic to work with. This project involved multiple structural changes, as we moved load-bearing walls and pushed out an exterior wall to add square footage to the space, plus HVAC, plumbing, electrical, insulation, siding, windows, tiling, hardwoord flooring, cabinets and custom carpentry, painting, etc.We especially appreciated how **** and ****** would talk through options with us. They always gave us clear choices with an understanding of how they would impact pricing and timelines. We also really appreciated their flexibility when we decided to push out the exterior wall, which was a change to the original scope. **** worked hard to get the engineer and city back quickly to approve the permit revision, and also was strategic about what work continued while we waited for that to ensure we werent taking on unnecessary risk. The attention to detail is another thing the J&C team does exceptionally well we had a really complicated cabinet faade to cover a soffit, and the team didnt think the original plan looked good enough, so they built an extra piece from scratch to make the entire thing look seamless. Also, I realize it seems like a given, but based on many other renovations weve seen, the fact that everything is perfectly level and centered is huge (even the cabinet drawer faces all line up exactly!). Finally, the team did a fantastic job keeping the area as clean as possible. This was critical as we chose to live in our house during the renovation. They would regularly inspect the plastic walls and make sure things were sealed well, plus they cleaned up after themselves every day and when the project was completed. Really fantastic experience, and well be hiring J&C for any future projects!
