      I am writing to file a formal complaint against CAF regarding an unauthorized account listed on my credit report. Below are the details of the account in question:--------------Creditor Name: CAF, Account Number: ********, Opened Date: 5/20/2022, High Credit: $27,822.------------------Nature of Complaint: Unauthorized account Upon reviewing my credit report, I discovered an account listed under my name that I did not authorize and have no recollection of opening or maintaining. This account is fraudulent, and I believe it was opened without my knowledge or consent.The presence of this unauthorized account is severely damaging my credit score and affecting my ability to maintain a healthy financial status. I respectfully request that CAF conduct a thorough investigation and take immediate action to permanently remove the account from my credit report.Despite my attempts to resolve this issue directly with CAF, the matter remains unresolved. As this issue is significantly impacting my credit and financial well-being, I am seeking the assistance of the Better Business Bureau to facilitate a swift resolution.Please confirm the steps taken to address this matter, and I kindly request your prompt attention to this complaint.Thank you for your time and support. Should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

      We have reviewed the complaint submitted regarding an alleged unauthorized account listed on the complainants credit report under the name "CAF." After conducting a thorough internal investigation,we can confirm that our company, CAF, has no record of any business relationship, credit account, or financial transaction with the complainant. We are a commercial cleaning supplies manufacturer.  Furthermore, we do not report any data to credit bureaus and are not in the business of extending credit, financing, or managing consumer accounts of any kind.
      It is our belief that the complainant may have confused our organization with another entity of a similar name. We take identity protection and consumer concerns seriously and have verified that the account referenced does not originate from or involve our company.
      We respectfully ask that this complaint be removed from our BBB file, as it does not pertain to our business activities or practices.
