    Autoban garage sells car parts. I purchased some parts from him to use on my car. I sent him money through ****** friends and family as he requested. The amount was $700. When the product showed up, i noticed that it was not the exact product that i ordered. I sent him a picture of this and he immediately called me. He told me that this product would still work and that i should use it anyways since the other one may not be in stock. He said it would work just fine. So i took his advice and went to install it on the car. However, the product would not fit correctly. I messaged him about this aswell and he told me that it was cut to fit. He said he had contacted the manufacturer of the part and they verified that it had to be cut in order to fit. So i once again followed his advice and cut it until it fit. Once it was finally in i noticed another problem. It was too different from what i had originally ordered and would not work with the other parts on the car as needed. I reached out and told him that it would not work to which he told me it was too late and i had already cut it so it couldnt be returned. I was not able to tell that it would not work until it was in, i could not have forseen this. Also, never once was there any disclaimer that cutting the parts to fit them or even installing them would make it so that they could not be returned if they did not work properly. He now refuses to work with me on this and wont give me a refund or the original product that i ordered. After all of this, i reached out to some other retailers of this product. I have now found out that this part is not cut to fit as he stated and is not meant for my kind of car, contrary to what he had said. All of the misinformation he gave me on the product led to me losing $600 and having a car that doesnt drive. At this point i would just like my money back.

    Hello, my name is **** Ban, i am responding to this complaint.  I am the owner of autoban garage. Responding to this complaint, id like to state that the transaction was done via ****** friends and family due to being a personal transaction to selling **** **** a part at cost value.  Drift HQ is the dealer for the manufcatured part that was drop shipped to ****.  The dealer stated that those were the parts he ordered, and actually spent time to provide PDF images of the manufactured part to show him. Autoban garage is a third party, and is not involved in any reimbursement even if possible. In this case, i myself **** Ban, took the liberty of reaching out on his behalf to see what could be done, since he modified the incorrect part, and regardless of needing modification or not, these parts are advertised as non OEM , non DOT approved parts.  They are meant for the racetrack and may require custom modification per each application.

    This is a response just to clear the situation, but essentially **** is an entitled customer wherever he shops. this is likely not the first invalid complaint he has submitted.  **** Ban or AutoBan Garage has not recieved any product or item back at all to recieve any refund.  Refunds are not garunteed ever as stated on *************************************************** in the terms and agreements.

    **** has reached out to me personally and now is attempting to attack a different business that has nothing to do with this personal transaction via ****** friends and family. please reach out ******************* for a folder of screenshots if required, from both dealer and distributor email chains.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    These claims made be **** ban are false. Attached are screenshots of him telling me that he is a drift hq retailer. He is a business retailing this product and he sold it to me. I also have screen shots attached of him telling me that i needed to trim the product to make it work. However, if you take a look at the screen shots i originally sent, drift hq who is also a retailer of these products claims they will fit out of the box and should not need any modification in order to fit.  Also, the claims about me doing this to businesses all of the time is a lie, as this is my first time ever using the BBB.
