    After my free annual dental appointment that my insurance has always covered for decades, I was told there was a remaining balance. I called and talked to JulieAnne and she said she would take care of it as it was part of the annual covered by insurance. Now over 6 months later they are billing me for it.

    We cannot speak specifically to any patient's specific status.  In general, insurance does not always cover all costs, unfortunately.  It would be great if they did.  Policies and coverage change from year to year and their benefits are dependent upon the contract between the employer and the insurance.  Because of this, ALL patients sign a financial policy.  The policy helps to alleviate any frustrations when insurance does not cover all costs.  The policy signed by all patients before their first visit states:

    I understand that as a recipient of dental care I, the undersigned, am responsible for all charges regardless of my
    circumstances for reimbursement
    .

    It can be frustrating when insurance does not cover as much as expected.  We have been a family dental practice for 16 years and operate with the highest degree of integrity.

    I am rejecting this response because: As I stated before I was told by an employee of there's JulieAnn that this would be taken care of. They are not making any effort to resolve this.

    In their response they noted at the bottom of the letter they...  operate with the highest degree of integrity. Then why are they not going through with their word of having the bill dismissed. I would have continued seeing them had they kept their word.
