  It has been a terrible experience working with All West Logging and Land Management. ***** ******* came to our property in the summer of 2024 to look at our timber, cashed our $450 check the next day, and assured us he would handle the permit with DNR and order a timber harvest boundary survey. However, after many months of silence, we were finally able to track him down. When we requested a refund, he claimed it was a process and that he needed to get reimbursed by DNR first. After contacting DNR, we discovered that no permit application had ever been submitted, and no fee was paid (DNR cant take payment without an application to process). When confronted with this, ***** became defensive, falsely claiming we couldnt request a refund from *** for the money he paid, and later promised to have his accountant reimburse us in full. Now, he refuses to refund our money and is accusing us of misconduct. Based on our experience, I would advise others to be very cautious before trusting this company.

  ****** ****** Asked me to evaluate his timber stand for logging and obtain a permit with ************************************************. After he showed me where he thought his property corners were, I explained that a Forest Practice Application with the State is a step by step process begining with flagging the timber Harvest boundry. ****** ****** insisted that he owned the property across the fence line and showed me a steel post indicating that it was his corner. I told him at that time that I would need to pull a plat map from the county and I would need a Deposit of $450.00 to start the ground work. After spending 6 hours over the next few weeks with several trips to his property at our rate of $ 80/hr his deposite was more than used up.The corner that he showed me looked fake and added a lot of big timber that from the plat map appeared to belong to his neibour. I explained to him at that time that he would need to have his property surveyed with legal corners put in before we could flag in a timber harvest boundry and continue with the permitting process. He called me this spring and accused me of ling about his property lines, the submission of his application, and that I had cost him money because he could not log now and take advantage of the high timber prices from the Terrifs. He also called the *** and made false statements to them, trying to get a refund. We turn in Forest Practice Applications to The *** frequently this is what we do for a living, you cannot Log without an FPA. I have four active applications at this time and all of the property's have good corners and we are not having any problems. Last year We had 4 approved permits. Everything ****** ****** said in his review was either out of context or not true.

  Had All West Logging, and *****, do a light logging of 80 acres. Also, had to re-work and/or make new entirely, 3/4 +/- mile of logging road that hadn't been used in 40+ years. Including installing two 2' x 40'-60' of drainage pipe in ravines, and one 3'x40'+ drainage pipe/culvert in a washed out area of old road, which also needed to be built up 12'+, to original grade, to State specifications. ***** and All West do things correctly and professionally. Good communication. Was kept in the loop with all his dealings with neighbors and State/County dealings. Will not hesitate to use All West again.
