1 starI would not recommend Kanon Electric, we received a second postcard from them offering a $57 discount on an "ELECTRICAL PANEL SAFETY INSPECTION & REPAIR" - the postcard was written to inspire fear, it begins "WE'VE FOUND ELECTRICAL PANELS IN YOUR AREA RECENTLY THAT HAVE BEEN RECALLED OR DEEMED UNSAFE FOR USE." it continues "...DETERMINE IF YOUR PANEL IS SAFE TO OPERATE..." and then warns "...FAILURE TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE SURGE PROTECTION AND ELECTRICAL OUTLETS CAN RESULT IN A VOIDED WARRANTY..."This isn't the way you reach out to provide a useful service. The promotion has the feel of a scam designed to prey on ************** who don't understand electrical systems. I called to ask to be removed from their mailing list & the call doesn't even go through -- I suppose that is a good thing. Highly not recommended.

At Kanon Electric, we’re a family-owned company that genuinely cares about the safety and well-being of our community. We've seen real issues in some panels — including manufacturer recalls — and our message was meant to raise awareness, not alarm.
We’re reviewing how we communicate in the future to ensure it better reflects our heart and professionalism. I also apologize for any phone trouble you encountered — we’ve tested the line and it's working, but if there was an issue at the time you called, that’s on us.

We like that Kanon electricians are background-checked and drug-screened. The electrician was professional, efficient, and outstanding service provided. Both answered my questions directly or indicated when they would contact their supervisor to verify information when it was indicated.This openness was much appreciated.They worked efficiently and cleaned up the various areas as the work was completed. 5 starsWe have used Kanon before and were very pleased, so we hired them to do our new shop and we were not disappointed !! ******** and ******* were great to work with and they did an excellent job. It was new construction, so they had to do it all! They worked fast and efficient, went above and beyond and did the complete job in what I felt was a remarkable time frame! 5 starsNote: Retired electronic/Electrical tech. Too old to do it myself. Yes, they are pricier than others but I feel you can trust they will do it right with best quality material and installation. I found I had a microwave on a 15-amp circuit with **************** in room behind Kitchen. They ran new 20 Amp circuit from garage thru home to kitchen installing dedicated GFIC outlet.Kanon Electric Inc
