August 6th my house flooded from a faulty washing machine. My claims department for ******************* sent me to Service Master. I am a widow 73 years old living on Social Security & have never had anything like this occur before. I was very confused and vulnerable. The next day a *** from Homesly Construction came to my house. He had me sign numerous papers that I didn't understand. Between ******************************** the claim was $80,000. I kept track of the money that came to me for the above businesses. Kitty called and said I needed to come and pay them the missing money.I was upset and went to their office. I had no idea what was going on & I hadn't added any extras that would need to be paid. So I went to meet with Kitty and she said I was short. I added all the construction checks that came to me and it looked like she was right. I was on the verge of tears & being pressured & she wrote the check out of my account for $4,396.90 & I signed the check reluctantly. I knew we were off on Travelers as everything went through my account so I went ahead & let her write my check as I was too upset & pressured. The next week, I devoted all my time to trying to straighten this out & find out why I was short. I called my adjuster and asked for copies of all the checks sent & carefully studied the endorsements & found two checks sent directly to Homesly. When I looked at the back endorsement they had gone into an account called ********************** **** and didn't come to me. That's why my bank statement was off according to ************************************* Construction are owned by the same person and share office space.I now find that they put a lien on my home. It was hard to find another insurance company to insure me because of the amount of the claim. ******************* canceled ************* was all I could get & the premium is $3900.00 a year. I need Kitty my money back so I can pay my first annual premium. Please help me.********
