      On Saturday, August 20, 2022, while traveling westbound on I90 with our 41-foot 5th wheel in tow, we experienced a tire blowout on the front, door-side of our RV. We were able to safely pull over about 5 miles west of *********. Our warranty company coordinated service with Moses Lake Towing.While the wait for service was reasonable, the negligence we experienced simply cannot be overlooked. Upon arrival, the man provided us a business card with no identifying remarks other than his company name, but I have since identified the man as the owner of the company. He arrived at the scene without the proper tools to provide the service needed for our trailer. He had scraps of wood and a **** that were insufficient. My husband had to engage the hydraulic system for the trailer so the man could remove the affected wheel. In order to do this, my husband had to stand in ***** way on the traffic side of trailer. After the wheel had been replaced with our spare, my husband asked the man to check the tire pressure but he didnt have a gauge, so my husband provided ours. He also could not access the valve stem, because it was on the inside of the tire. My husband questioned him while we were still roadside and asked if he had put the spare wheel on backwards. He assured my husband it was on correctly and even said some wheels are like that reversible. Trusting him, we drove to the nearest tire shop in Moses Lake to replace the damaged tire.Commercial Tire in Moses Lake inspected the spare tire and explained that the tow operator had indeed put the wheel on backwards. In fact, in less than 30 miles of driving, the wheel already showed signs of wear. Andys failure to provide competent, reliable service for motorists driving on public roadways should not be tolerated. The sudden loss of that wheel could have been catastrophic for us personally, and also presented a clear and present danger to anyone driving around us.
