    Its very unfortunate when a towing company hires employees thinking they are good people. One of their former employees was not. Agrifix Towing was the towing company that handled the towing and clean up for my sisters semi accident in *********, **********. Unfortunately she did not make it. But unfortunately to our surprise her personal Belongings (phone, wallet, keys, tablet) did not make it to us. They made it to the hands of a former employee of the company. Thankfully we had an old phone that had location to the new phone and the sheriff office retrieved the phone for us from the former employee. We do not live in the same state as the accident so it has been hard with communication with all the companies.

    I want to say again my condolences on the loss of your sister.  Due to the nature of this accident and the need to perform a recovery of the contents as well as the tractor and trailer units, we called our local employment security office for additional hands.  We do not do the screening as we relied on that of the unemployment office.  Temporary help was used for one day. 

    Our company and its team members spent several extra hours attempting to locate ALL personal belongings at no cost to the trucking company or the family.  It was brought to our attention by a family member of the deceased that a phone was pinged a recovered at the home of a temporary helper.  No other items were found to be in his possession.  The conditions of this overturned semi in addition to the weather conditions made for a mess to clean up.  Several loads had been taken to the landfill before we were apprized of the specific contents to locate.

    I am sorry for this phone being retrieved by temp help and glad it was able to be located and returned to your family.  I am so sorry for your loss this tragedy has caused.
