    Complaint: 22785317

I am rejecting this response because:
I was threatened with a mechanics lien because I requested clarification of charges and verification of work described. When charged with the lien I was forced to pay his legal fees without benefit of any proof of invoice. This is very much in keeping with my experience with Premier Electricals billing practices in general. I was repeatedly asked to pay without verification. The attorneys fees were simply another example. I am asked to believe with the ability to verify. I also requested verification that this his latest request for payment was a final invoice and that our contract was completed. His last bill requesting more money was sent almost nine months from the last time he was on site to the best of my recollection.
Premier Electrical has, over all, been a nightmare to work with and I would have never used them had I known then what I know now.

Despite your Attorneys opinion, you charged me for services without any verification of the charges. In addition, you provided no verification that our contract if closed and that you will not continue to find bills to charge me for or feign that our contract is still valid.

I respectfully request closure on these matters. Billing without proof of expenses is not standard business practice.
    Sincerely,

We object to the customers complaint, as every invoice for ******************************************* provided to him has been itemized per the executed contract. In July of 2023 the customer was billed for the incremental bid payment and the additionally requested electrical work performed at his property.

When the invoice was not paid per the payment terms outlined in the contract, we contacted our lawyer to handle the matter.  In August 2023 our lawyer sent a demand letter to the Customer for the total amount owed which included the original invoice amount, late fees and legal fees, per the executed contract.

Premier Electrical Services has been advised by our lawyer that we are under no obligation to provide an itemized invoice of legal services or proof that the services billed by our lawyer have been paid.

    *******,

We interpret your request for verification that our contract is closed, as a declaration of your desire to formally terminate the contract. Just as you wish to have reassurance that you will not receive any further billing; we wish to have assurance that you have no expectations of receiving any further services from us related to the contract and consider our obligations related to the contract fulfilled.

That being true, we agree that our business with you is now concluded and your financial obligations related to the executed contract have been fulfilled.

    Regards,
    Premier Electrical Services
