  Full Speed Plumbing Complaint Our water heater leaked, forcing us to shut off the water. We called Full Speed Plumbing, listed on the unit, for a replacement. 50 gallon natural gas water heater. As retirees on Social Security, we were in a bind and paid $4,114 after negotiating a lower price. The invoice only showed the total, with no breakdown of parts and labor. When I requested details, they refused, and a promised manager call never came.Research shows typical costs: up to $200/hour for 3 hours of labor ($600) and a water heater costing $1,500-$2,000, totaling $2,100-$2,600. We were overcharged by $1,500-$2,000. Yelp reviews average 2/5 stars, with frequent overcharging complaints. Full Speed Plumbing isnt BBB-accredited, but negative BBB reviews do exist, well add another negative review on the BBB site. We will contact the Attorney General, Labor and Industries, and ************************* for exploitation. Stay away from this company.

  Contacted the company to come in and reset a toilet in one bathroom and to look at a leak from a toilet in a second bathroom. Plumber came in and discussed how there could be damage to the floor and he would write up an estimate, but could not know the full extent of the job until the toilet was pulled.After pulling the toilet he found no damage to the floor, but still charged us $1200 for setting a toilet that took him 30 minutes to complete. He also checked the second toilet and said he discovered loose fittings between the tank and the bowl and that he tightened them. Today we used the second toilet and still have water around the base of the toilet. Called about the bill yesterday and did not get a call back. I called again today and was told the manager was in training. Talked to the manager and got nowhere with him. So I still have a toilet that leaks and paid over $1200 to set a toilet.

  I had a sewer line that was backing up, and Full Speed showed up same-day. An initial $3,000 estimate to jet the line quickly turned into a quote for $6,000 to install a clean-out and then jet the line. At the end of the day I paid the $6,000 and was left with a broken sewer line, a hole in the yard, no new clean-out (because there actually was one), and a quote for over $20,000 to replace the entire line. Another contractor was willing and able to clean out the line, repair the pipe, and fill the hole for less than $2,000. I have called the number multiple times and have been told to email. Multiple emails have gone unanswered as well. Adding this review so that others don't get grifted in the same manner.

  Working with Full Speed was an awful experience. They overcharged incredibly, but did poor quality work that we had to hire a different plumber to fix. Quotes from multiple other plumbers were less than half the cost, and in the process of getting other quotes we found out that the technician lied about the issue at hand, the scope of the project, and the materials and tools needed to complete it. No one should hire them under any circumstances.
