      I started discussions with dealer for a Liquid Spring suspension in my Ram 5500 flatbed truck about Dec 18, 2023. On Jan 23 I paid a $20,000 deposit and they ordered the parts. I was told 8-10 weeks for parts then installation would take up to 4 weeks. I dropped the truck off June 6th. June 27 they finally got the truck in the shop. At this point we canceled our Alaska trip with the truck and camper. Three weeks later little progress. At this point I talked on the phone with the manager and said this was not acceptable and demanded a significant decrease in the price. He refused, saying he will honor the quote even though this was a custom build. It therefore took a lot of overtime which he would not charge me for. Well I should not have to pay to train his people. He also said it will be done when it is done. On Aug 1 I was asked to make a major compromise to the truck to complete the install and I refused. I got another installer and the national sales manager involved and they finally understood the solution. Other mistakes were made which I won't detail. To make a long story short, I finally picked up the completed truck on Sep 24. Four week install? Try 3 1/2 months. We had to canceled all our summer camping trips. They did not have the experience to do such a job, and I paid the price. That which is a custom job for them is routine job for another dealer in ******. I should have taken it down to them, had it done in a couple weeks, and saved $3500 sales tax. Anyway, I am not happy with Model 1 and told them so. My summer was completely wasted due to my job not being a priority, and they did not have the skills and experience to do the job they agreed to do. He claimed he could have charged me a lot more money because of the complexity of the job. For him, maybe it was, but then he should have declined the job. I should not pay for their lack of ability to do the job. He told me not to bring that truck back which I readily agreed. ^^**** and **** ^^
