    The date on the contract is 6/22/2023 A $350 deposit was provided to the company: 50% deposit required to schedule and "start" project with the remaining balance due upon completion. The "start" date was to be 6/24/2023.Project Description: Install 4 foot gate: remove 8 foot section of metal fence, convert into 4 foot gate, use remaining 4 foot section to fill in opening. All materials labor and installation.Also incuded: Strengthen up vinyl gate post and adjust if necessary. 2 year warranty on construction and installation.I haven't heard from the contractor since providing the $350 deposit. I have called and left messages numerous times, at least four times. He never answers the phone. My last message to him on Aug 10, 2023 was to return my call and schedule the work or refund my deposit, No response. It is now Aug 15, 2023 nearly two months since providing the deposit for the work.At this point, I want a refund of my deposit and do not want him to perform the work. Had I read previous BBB complaints about this contractor I would NOT have contracted with them to do the work.If the matter is not resolved, I will go after his bond or file a non performance lien against his property.

    I hired **** at Artistic Iron Solutions to fabricate and install a metal stair system. Contract was signed May 17th and half of the bid amount was paid upfront as a deposit in the amount of $3,079. Work was to begin immediately and the project was to be completed within a month. After reaching out several times, **** responded on June 19th that the stairs were almost finished. That was my last communication with him. Since then I have called, texted and emailed a dozen times requesting an update with zero response. *** even reached out through a mutual acquaintance to make sure he was still alive and something didnt happen. He is intentionally not responding and has failed to finish the job as agreed. It has been 6 weeks since I heard from him. I think it is unlikely that he is actually going to finish the project so at least I would like a refund so I can find a different contractor.
