***** at Precision Coast Painting Inc. painted my house. he offered to paint concrete walkway as well for additional $1400 that he included into the sum of the contract. He painted it but in two months paint began to flake away. He came and inspected the paint and said he will re-paint when the weather is dry and above 60 degrees as the quality is subpar. He kept promising until July 2022 when he said it's no longer his responsibility.I would like him either return the $1400 or re-do the job as he promised.

Our company has done several projects for this customer. At the time of ********************** the exterior of one of his homes he asked for the concrete walkway to be freshened up. I recommended coating the walkway in epoxy. The customer refused and asked for it to be completed in the most inexpensive way possible. We applied a concrete stain. I informed the customer that this coating could not be power washed. Shortly after the application the customer informed me he power washed the surface and removed some of the coating. I informed him that this was exactly what I told him not to do. I informed him that he had compromised the coating but he could touch it up with the stain we had left with him for touch **** In spring when we had returned to paint an additional additional home for him, he requested that we recoat the walkway with epoxy at no charge. I informed him we could do this, however there would be a charge to do this because the surface was not warrantied. The original stain was applied for only the cost of the materials and there was no charge for labor. The customer continued to insist that come back to redcoat the surface with epoxy at no charge. I requested that he produce the contract showing the warranty. He could not.
