    I am lodging a formal complaint against Signature Auto Detailing for unethical business practices and failure to fulfill contractual obligations.On 4/23/2024, I paid a $320 deposit for a ceramic coat service on my vehicle. Despite prior arrangements, the service could not proceed as planned due to water droplets on my three-week-old vehicle. The owner quoted an additional $600 to remove them, a cost not previously disclosed.Upon learning of this unexpected and exorbitant expense, I informed Signature Auto Detailing that I no longer wished to proceed with the service. However, instead of acknowledging my decision, they began demanding additional payments. They insisted that I pay $100 for a car wash that was performed, as well as another $100 for a facility fee, claiming that they were utilizing the facilities of *************** ********** a business presumably affiliated with Signature Auto Detailing. These additional charges were not disclosed or discussed before the scheduled service.When I refused to pay for services that were neither rendered nor agreed upon, Signature Auto Detailing became confrontational and attempted to prevent me from leaving the premises. It was only after I threatened to involve law enforcement that they reluctantly allowed me to depart.Despite police intervention, the owner refused to refund my deposit, leaving me without services rendered and my money withheld. This behavior constitutes unprofessional conduct and a breach of trust. I believe this establishment's actions reflect poorly on the industry and warrant investigation by the Better Business Bureau to prevent further consumer exploitation.I urge prompt action to address this matter and seek a resolution in my favor.Sincerely,****
