  I applied for a drawing to win a boudior photo shoot package totalling $1500 and was selected after speaking with someone from the company over text. I was told that $750 went towards hair and makeup and $750 went towards photos. I was asked to put doen a fully refundable depsoit to ensure I showed up for my booking because they needed to be able to cover the costs if I failed to appear. I understand this practice. A friend won a similar package at another studio and had a great experience. I enjoyed getting my hair and makeup done and the photo shoot was excellent. The photographer made me feel special and beautiful. After the shoot I was scheduled for a Zoom meeting to choose photos where I learned the cheapest photos I could get were 6 for just under $2000. That is something I could not afford. I was told I could roll the deposit into a package if I chose to but I was never told it was a requirement. I declined purchasing any photos because I could not even afford the financing at the moment. I asked for my deposit to be refunded as I had borrowed it and mentioned it to the person I did the meeting with. After a week of no deposit showing up in my account I emailed the company back asking about it and was told since I chose not to finance the photos my depsot was non-refundable. This was never disclosed to me nor was it in any of my communications with them. I am ver unhappy with my experience with them. It was a total scam. I should have been able to receive at least one photo for $750.

  My friend and I met Rebecca **** at a bridal show where she was offering $99 Boudoir photoshoots. When asked what the $99 includes, she told us it pays for hair, makeup and time for the photoshoot. It does not include photos. I asked her how much the photo packages cost and she said that they start at $250 and only get expensive if you want a ton of photos. With this information, we were under the impression that we would be paying about $250-$500 for our photos. We each sign up and pay the $99. The next day we are sent as extensive contract to sign. I read through the contract to find out that packages start at $850 for 10 printed photos and $1,750 for 10 digital photo downloads. I reached out to Rebecca to let her know I would like to cancel my photoshoot and recieve my money back because I was under the impression that photo packages were way less. After going back and forth with her, she refused to give both of us our money back. What a scam.

  Hi ******, were so sorry you feel this way. When you spoke to us at the expo we gave you accurate informing about our pricing. Our single images are $250 and our bundles are $899. You had a $500 voucher and saved $500 to book with us which would have resulted a session for only $350. We dont scam people especially our brides. Were sorry you had a different perception of what our pricing is but as you stated; correct our pricing begins at $250. We are a full service photography provider. Hair and makeup alone is $250 so we you can see this value is a wonderful one and we are sorry you did not choose to take advantage of that.

  As a former Wedding Planner/Event Manager, I was excited to bring my close girl friend to **************** here in ********** to experience the fun of going to a Wedding Expo and meeting different vendors. As most Brides do, she submitted her information to different vendors for raffles, complimentary gifts etc. She received a call from Rebecca stating that she was chosen for a complimentary Boudoir photoshoot and was absolutely ecstatic! Rebecca told her that in order to book this complimentary session, she would need to put down a $200 refundable deposit. After she paid the $200 deposit, she received an email with the contract stating the deposit would go towards the photo collection with the choices of 10 photos for $899 of 65 photos for $9,999. Confused as to how either of those packages relates to a service being complimentary, we called Rebecca and asked her to explain. Rebecca said, "well you're basically getting $200 off the collection prices". After reading further through the contract, it states that if canceled you will ADDITIONALLY be charged $379 from the card that deposit was paid with to cancel. $579 FOR UNUSED COMPLIMENTARY SERVICES. Upon calling **************** to notify them of this Vendor and absolutely misleading, "complimentary" $579 session, they said that they have had other brides calling to report this as well. Shame on you for ruining this experience for Brides to be and taking advantage of them by requiring a $200 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit prior to receiving or being able to review a contract. **Complimentary: given or supplied free of charge.

  Our bridal expos are always so much fun, and we did give away a boudoir session (valued at $600)! We ask all our clients to put down a deposit as this allows us to book our skilled *********** and this is a refundable deposit as we mentioned at our expo. 
  
  All products and services are separate and not included in this giveaway. 
  
  Our products are luxury and do begin at $899 which is very standard for boudoir in our area. 

  It does appear the information you are providing is inaccurate, our session fees are $379, there is nothing in our contract that states this is a cancellation fee. WE highly recommend speaking with us directly for accurate information. We spoke with your friend and did not charge her any cancellation fee's. Our fee's are only in our contract should someone cancel their session within 4 weeks and specifically within ******************************************************* advance so as you can understand, those fee's are set only in the rare circumstance someone were to book, and not show up.

   

  All deposit are also refundable, as they were to your friend who decided this wasn't what she wanted to do.
