In April **** my husband and I signed a contract with Royal Roofing to replace the metal ag roof on are home with a composition roof. On or about July 21, 2022 Royal Roofing (RRI) started a roof replacement on our home.October 21, 2022 was there last day on the job.We have over 200 emails and sent 3 emails to our point of contact and 3 emails to the office requesting an itemized final invoice. No response. The biggest issue is Royal replaced the skip sheathing with 7/16 sheathing on the original part of the house. Section 803 of ************************************** dictates for a 24 inch ********************* configuration the minimum thickness for sheathing is 5/8. The workers had no respect for are property and damaged the gutters to the lower level of are house.Royal Roofing failed on replacing two pieces of facia made bad cuts and left.Made a bad choice for facia flashing. The flashing is warped with exposed screws.Only Half of the siding over the roof was fixed. The other half at the bottom of the siding is pulled 1" away from house and the siding that was damaged instead of replacing it, they used black caulk to hold it together. They even damaged a valley flashing they installed. After three attemps chimney flue still not level. There are so many issues, too many to list. We have to spend another summer, trying to find someone to replace the cabin roof now and repair all of the other damages the company's crew caused. Uploading some pictures. Finding a contractor to replace cabin roof, repair/replace other issues, deducting those costs plus costs for part we purchased and items they did not install. After deducting these costs, balance after deductions can go to them. However, we want an itemized final invoice. Have more if requested.

    Business Response

    To whom it may concern,

Royal Roofing has been going through a restructure due to the fact that all of previous management had left to open up their own businesses. These key personnel within the company had full control of all operations. Unbeknownst to Royal, previous management had the exit strategy planned far in advance and left Royal in a predicament with multiple projects either incomplete or mid ways. Complainants were previously working to correct items with previous management but just like this and many other items they left issues like this out in the open.

With new Management now hired on many of these cases like the Clavadetscher's Residence have been resolved or settled on. Royal Roofing understands the issues, Royal has forwarded the Complainant's information and concerns to our Attorney in order to resolve this situation. Complainants  If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me. Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because:

They have not reached out to us or our attorney.  Our attorney sent Royal Roofing a letter on December 27, 2022 to try to resolve our issues and has not heard a word.

    Sincerely,
