Bunch of excuses. You call ahead of time to tell your customer that has waited 6 weeks and agreed to pay $325 and your voicemail was full. I did not get angry it took 1 hour for you to reply after I sent the email. As far as Sept 6 our power was out from and I can confirm that with my phone call to the **** We have no phone service when there is a power outage. Great you made money on a 'financial decision'. Just be honest next time and say we have to chase $1000 to drive that far. Will never contact you again.

We did not even do work for this customer. They called to make an appointment in a far away location. We hoped to get more people in that location so it made financial sense to travel that distance.

When she sent a comment through BBB I responded completely. I took responsibility and apologized. Please read my response.

I do not think this interaction should reflect negatively on our business.

Thought this was a great place and nice person when I stopped early Sept 2023 to make an appointment. **** was with other customers but took time to schedule an appointment with us for Oct 5. We live in the next county and it's a 2 hour drive but EverWarm is the closest place. **** said the travel price was $325 in addition to the work they would be doing. I agreed since we were in a bind to get our stove pipes repaired. The following week **** called and asked if she had scheduled for that week. I confirmed Oct 5, asking again to make sure they call us first so we can unlock the gate and put the dogs in their kennels. Oct 4th at 3pm I sent this email......Hi ****, I wanted to touch base and make sure our appointment is still on for tomorrow Oct 5. I tried calling and leaving a voicemail but it is full.We need to know what time you are expecting to be here. We have a locked gate that needs to be opened and two German Shepherds that need to be kenneled before anyone comes in. Please call xxx-xxx-xxxx or reply to this email. Thanks ************************* At 4:03 the phone rang, **** from EverWarm called and matter of factly said, their calendars got messed up and the other girl had booked the whole day for the ****** area. I will call you back with another appointment date. Good bye. **** has not called....I think she just went ahead and lied to me deciding she didn't want any workers to drive this far to our home. I am actually thrilled we didn't end up doing business with them. We don't want anything in return just want to warn people this place has no customer service etiquette. They could care less about customers. We ended up putting a post in our local fb page for help and a ***************** responded. It's best if you try finding a handyman near you instead of dealing with these ripoffs.

      Hello *** and *****,

I have researched a good amount of the details and I am sorry for that this has been an ordeal for you. The bottom line is we can do better! Since I did the research, I have information of all that happened.  In the spirit of clarity, I would like to present the facts for this experience. I hope you at least find it informational or entertaining, but it is not meant to take away that I am sorry. We used your comments to be better. Thank you!

**** was not lying, I had directed the staff to schedule the crew on another job. It was last minute and it was done purely as a financial/business decision. Heres how I arrived at it. For two well educated and fully equipped, insured, licensed, bonded service techs to travel in a reliable vehicle costs $92 per hour. Plus an additional $53 of fuel to travel to your location approximately 60 miles from us. There is about 1hour and 20 minutes of travel time to your location. This does not include the time to load, prep, complete paperwork nor does it include any time spent on the job actually doing work and our cost to just get to you is over the $325 **** quoted you. Within the hour you had sent your email and you received a return call from ****, I made the change. I decided the next day would be better spent making money. That is essentially why we have a business. I had instructed her to give you a call, all of this was happening at the same time and I am sorry that her 1 hour response time wasnt fast enough, prior to that she didnt know of any changes. Im sure it felt to **** like she was doing this very quickly. I know $325 is a lot of money, it is to me too, hopefully you can see that in your situation it is a numbers game and most people who live far away from resources understand that.

**** did reach out to you on the 6th to schedule you for 13th at which time we had other appointments in the area which would be economically feasible for us both. She was unable to get through to you or your voicemail.

To clarify the appointment cost. The $325 includes travel time and about an hour of service. All in all costing us $390. The extra costs only arise if we needed to replace pipe or parts or spend additional time fixing your problem.

I am glad you were able to find someone close to you. If they were helpful, I would spend energy promoting them. The travel time really is the killer in this instance and I am sorry for that. As we have been in business for 45 years we have learned a few things. Keeping well paid and trained employees, safe, in vehicles that run well, insuring them and protecting you from liability and lawsuit is expensive.

Despite my long explanation, I am truly sorry that this situation occurred. We are committed to providing the best customer service, even though we fail sometimes. We have discussed your comments and have made note that we can do better. I appreciate the opportunity to read your review and use it to make us better.

If you would like to reach out to me directly, my phone number is ************.

      Thank you,

      ******
