      I opened a checking account with ********************** in 2023. Since doing this kitsap banks fraud detection technology has frozen me out of my account 4 times, 3 of them happening on Fridays so I'm without access to money all weekend and the most recent one was absolutely the most destructive thing a bank has ever done. There was no fraud. I transferred money to my cash app card while traveling BACK to kitsap county from working in *******. Again, this happened Friday afternoon leaving with no way of contacting kitsap bank customer service until Monday, well I had to be back for work in ******* Monday, but I'm stuck in **********, because my bank froze my account and left me stranded. I had to call in to work both Monday and Tuesday because without money I couldnt get done what I even came to ******** to complete. The after hours number is useslsss, their only capability is ordering me a new card, which does me nothing as I'm stranded in real time with no gas. I had no choice but to write myself a check from my kitsap bank account to my Oregon credit union account so I could get a hundred dollars out. Then, instead of being like every other bank I've used, they sent the payment back, and decided I deserved to be charged a 34 dollars return item fee. When it's their stupid technology that's completely failed and flawed. I'm disputing this charge, if they won't help me today. I'm filing complaints wherever need be until I get my 34 dollars back from this financial institution. Gas for the trip I was on a deadline for was over *********************************************************** another 800, now my direct deposit paycheck, which is all the money I have had been deposited into kitsap bank, I'm back in ******* and completely screwed again because I can't access any of my money. I can't get to the job site, I'm literally stuck at a gas station until this bank opens my account. Don't think I'll ever use this account again. I don't trust it, I don't like it. Who would?

      We are in receipt of Mr. ******* recent complaint. Upon review of his account history the issue appears to be related to potential fraudulent transactions on his debit card.  

      Kitsap Bank like other financial institutions, uses a fraud detection company which analyzes a customers card activity that searches for anomalies. When an anomaly is detected, the company places a warm block on the card and then sends an email and/or a text message to the client, using the contact information on file.  In this case, **************** was sent an email using the email address on file.  Unfortunately,it appears **************** is using a new email address Kitsap Bank does not have on file. Additionally, the phone number on file was listed as a home number, which would not trigger a text to be sent. 

      The Branch Manager of our Kingston Branch, reached out to **************** and explained to him the process when anomalies are detected on a debit card.  She also shared best tips going forward,including updating his email address. As a courtesy, the $34 non-sufficient funds (NSF) fee has been refunded.  We appreciate **************** notifying us of this situation, as Kitsap Bank takes consumer complaints very seriously and strives for a complete and fair resolution.

      This bank has no customer service whatsoever. My father has tried to access online banking and it keeps saying "uer id is locked" which is total ********. This bank needs to allow us the opportunity to change logins or we will cancel our services and withdraw all our money. I demand customer service callback
