      I hired Assured Excavation, LLC to install a new septic system to replace a failing system on my property. They were paid $16,363.90 on ~10/7/24 as a 50% down payment of their invoice #****, to do the work. They have not performed the work and do not answer my multiple calls, emails or registered letter. I have requested that they refund the $16,363.90 plus loan interest and fees. No response.

      On October 17th 2023 I paid the company 7,331.90$ to begin a repair on a septic system, with the second half to be paid upon completion. I was told they could start work sometime Mid-November. Prior to taking payment communication was easy with quick responses. After paying I did not hear from the Assured until some time around the New Year. I was not living in the home on the property, as I was fixing it up for a rental. So I was not too concerned with the slow response as I figured it would take me some time to finish the house. Now, over a year later, the house is finished and sitting vacant. It should be noted that ground was not broken to being the install until mid July of this year, all the while communication was either slow, or non existent. And when there was communication, it consisted of excuses like "My truck broke down, cant start for another two weeks", Im not even joking. Just like my printer was always out of ink the night before a report was due in middle school...As it sits today the system is installed but needs to be inspected by the county and the septic designer before it can be re-covered with dirt. Assured had told me they would file the inspection with the cognizant parties weeks ago, but that has yet to happen. If I could just pay another contractor to finish the job I would, but the county wont let another installer work as the permit to do the work is issued to Assured Excavation, so I am stuck. Communication is still almost non existent, phone calls go unanswered and I am lucky to receive a poorly worded text once every couple weeks. I just want to fill the hole in my yard.
