We signed a contract with Hanley Construction several months ago. Unfortunately, one of the addendum in the contract that we didn't catch but signed, said the work wouldn't be done for 6 to 9 months. Then we started getting monthly updates. That's when we noticed the lengthy timeline, because it said we were 31st in a queue of 180 projects. I called Hanley and was informed that we signed the contract with the addendum, so basically we were out of luck. We reluctantly decided to continue with this contract because we had already put a 10% deposit ********* forward several months and the last update we got, we are now 28th in line. At this rate, it will take over two years for our roof to be worked ***** no point in our conversations with the estimator or prior to signing the contract was this lengthy timeline verbally pointed out. So, if you need a roof project in any sort of average timeline, you might want to pass over Hanley or at least read all of the addendum before you sign.

Dear Mr. **************** we understand your frustration with your oversight of the timeline for your roof replacement, we were very up front regarding the 6-9 month timeframe. This is mentioned in bold in the first page of your Welcome Letter packet. You initialed this line of text stating you read and are aware of the timeframe. This information was also sent to you in your Scheduling Confirmation email after your paperwork and project were approved, processed and moved forward to our scheduling department. While you mentioned our monthly updates and feel it would take over 2 years to get the roof completed, we do hold to the 6-9 month timeframe and work through projects at different rates every month depending on the size of jobs ahead of you in our queue. You signed up with us in June and six to nine months would be December February. We are on track to complete your project in that timeframe. However, after speaking with our President about your wish to cancel your project and declining his solution to work with you to complete your project in the next month, rather than the 6-9 months, you disclosed the reason you wish to cancel is due to finding another roofing company to complete the job cheaper and not because of the aforementioned timeframe. We work very hard to be completely upfront in our communication with customers from any ********************** representative, be it our estimators, field crew or office staff. We also make it a priority to be fully transparent with all our paperwork. We agree that our customers should always read all the paperwork prior to signing anything and we are always happy to answer any questions our customers have regarding our process. We are more than willing to work with you to complete your project as quickly as we are able but cancelling your project is at your discretion as well.Review fromBetsy S

5 starsHanley roofing repaired our roof and installed roof anchors over 3 years ago. A roof cleaner felt that a couple of the anchors were loose so we contacted Hanley. They sent someone out within a few days. That person spent an hour or two on our roof in the pouring rain, inspecting every anchor, photographing them for us and adding more nails for good measure. None of them had a problem and they
