Association Services is the current property manager for the ******** at the ********* where I own a condo. On January 11, 2025, I attempted to use the web portal they provide to pay that month's *** **** after it appeared Association Services lost the check sent by my bank's (*****) **** pay service for the second time. Their payment service uses ****** which required me to log into my ***** account and authorize it access, which it appeared to do successfully. Shortly thereafter, when Association Services system tried to debit from my checking account there was an error with Stripe resulting in the payment to fail. Association Services then charged me a $25 "NSF" fee (misrepresentation because my checking account had a balance much greater than the amount to be debited). I respectfully requested that they refund the $25 fee because it was incurred due to no fault of my own but they never responded. They previously said that I must have entered my checking account details incorrectly but I never had to enter my checking account details because setting up Stripe involves logging into the checking account and granting it access.

My complaint is *** harrassment with persistent daily fines for lawn maintenance schedule that does not conform to *** schedule and mowing lawn every other week is violation of regs. The fee for lawn noncompliance needs to be removed. ***************** any knowledge on lawn maintenance; their demands of lawn maintenance causes further harm to my lawn; the agency cannot require me to schedule yard work the weekend prior to inspection. The builders created a landscaping environment that provides no benefit for grass when planted on rocks. The *** creates an environment that contributes to weed overgrowth. The photo of weeds I received are clovers next to short grass. Clovers help my lawn; attracts bees; infuses nitrogen deep into the soil and provides nourishment for grass that lacks nutrients due to rocky ***** but rebounds quicker than grass. A photo taken one day of the week does not support any neglect argument. I perform lawn maintenance every other weekend. *** determined this is not acceptable or relevant to observation during inspection and advanced the fine. I requested information on locating regs on their website and received snippet of single reg that does not support *** argument that I need to mow prior to inspection to qualify as meets complaince of the lawn maint regs. What I read from snippet is maintain and I do that regularly. I did not see reg of how to schedule lawn maintenance in that snippet. My request to help locate reg was not an excessive demand. Please note I cannot get my lawn naturally green or weed free because builders planted everything on rocks; with sloped rocky ******** water runs off; fertilizer does not absorb into the soil; pulling clovers encourages more harmful weed growth; grass cannot thrive when stressed every week. Please explain how my schedule is noncompliant; provide reg that tells me how I must schedule lawn maintenance to have lawn work qualify as being compliant; explain why working on lawn every other week is noncompliance.

When I called the hoa on 5/7 for the documents needed to close on selling, I was informed they did not know what fees there would be and couldnt tell me what the costs were. Asked to speak to the manager of *******, was told she would be calling me. I asked for a copy of a statement saying I paid my dues , which I did, they refused to supply it and said it needed to be through condocerts because they handle this. I asked what fees there would be with selling as none are listed anywhere in the by laws or anything as the title company needed this. Contacted condocerts who said they are contracted by the hoa and provide a service for them but nothing more. Nowhere in the by laws does it say I need to pay $177 for a statement saying I paid my dues and refused to give me the transfer cost before I paid. ********** informed me the hoa required I pay this fee for a statement saying I paid and they could not provide what the additional fees for transfer ship would be till I paid. They made me pay $177 before they would tell me if there were any additional costs and none of this is in the by laws. The employee for the hoa basically told me *******, the manager was avoiding me because she knew I would pay as it was needed to sell the house. They held me hostage and made me pay fees that had never been discussed and where not in any by laws or cc&rs. When I mentioned I needed to contact an attorney because I couldnt believe what was happening, ***** said they could no longer speak with me and hung up on me mid sentence because her training said to not talk if someone says attorney. I asked for the attorney contact information or who I could speak to, she just hung up at that point with no answer after explaining there rule and interrupting me.
