      Me and my wife bought a camper in 2014 the camper was a forest river cruise, light camper from day one we have had nothing but issues with the camper, starting with it, had no breaks and got told it was my truck and not the trailer. They made me hook up to 4 other trailers before they would admit that it's not my truck. So after a while, they finally get that issue resolved, then the a pop out awning starts leaking. They try to attempt to fix it multiple times but never do just keep sleeking. Until finally, I had to take it to a different place that did exactly what south hill r v said.They did but this time it was actually fixed ****** refrigerator has gone out my bathroom plumbing.Leaks.The body is separating and now we are having issues with the heater working with South Hill. Rv, I tried having repairs done there. Because that's what they said they would do for us that they only service the people that buy from them. But I've never been able to get in to have them service, anything The sale staff there is very rude. And uh, unfriendly, very poor customer service and the owner ***, is a bully. He tries to be little. You and make you feel like you are uneducated. and we'll refuse to do the repairs, they promised to do After minding ***** last conversation, he told me I am no longer allowed to go back to the dealership. Where mind you?I bought it the year before this camper is a complete lemon and the dealership wants to do nothing to help me. They have been very rude to me. And my wife and all as we've asked for is just some help getting these items fixed.I would like a refund for the camper. I will gladly drop it off. So I can go to a better dealership, and have somebody that will actually help us. I'm seeking the amount paid for the camper, which was $50000. And to also warn other potential customers of their lies in manipulation, they do to get you in there to buy the camper, and once you get the camper paid for they pretty much abandon you and your needs

      Mr ****** ********* Purchased a new 2023 Cruise Lite model 273BHXL on 10-23-2023, for $37,988. These are amazing units and a brand we have sold for over 23 years! They have a 1 year factory warranty against mfg defects! Like every customer we try to do our best to get them in, fixed and out in a timely manner. On one of the first warranty appts we addressed and fixed everything that is covered under warranty, The few things that were denied because they were not mfg defects, We still try to get them approved but after countless pictures and emails, some are not, for example an awning fabric, There was a rip/tear that was caused by something else, most likely a branch or similar, Mr ********* would not accept that, He is very loud, aggressive and threatening to the point he would not pick up his unit until we replaced even the damages he caused. We/**** ended up fixing majority of his denied claims just to try and make our customers happy, ( HUGE Regret) as every appt after this was even worse, and they expect everything they damage to be replaced, and if not the aggressive tone and loud threats, Going on line/social media saying how horrible we are , (after repairing his mistakes) My entire staff is scared to death of this guy as he really gets aggressive with the girls especially vs myself or male staff. After every appt he has been this way and I have to look out for my staff and there well being first! I reminded him that anyone can do your warranty work and if you feel we are so horrible, I feel its best for us both for you to go that route. He then takes it to another shop we recommend and even if we get too busy, and he did the same thing there with threats , insults etc and now they refuse service him, of course calls screaming at my office ladies because of this. I again spoke to him and asked him to stop , and stop being a bully to my staff and every service shop as the next shop you will get the same results. He proceeded to say that he is going to ruin me, & here we are! We go above and beyond for every customer we have, But have learned some people will just never be happy and are not safe to have on the lot! Thank you

      I am rejecting this response because: We did not walk through their whole inventory; statement was untrue. Next we didn't wait no week to so called demand that we get stuff for free; another untruth. Next the attorney didn't send threating letters or my wife and I at all; another untruth. Matter of fact **** had us set up on a appointment on a Saturday to do a *** and we brought up the tires at that point. That Monday **** took it to their tire shop to have the tires looked at **** wrote us back and told us that their tire shop said that "all" six tires would have to be changed out at a special order of $4700 + Tax. **** asked ** if we would like to order them on our dime. We don't have buyers remorse at all we like the motorhome. We just believe that we were mislead into that they would do fixes that would be addressed at the time of the *** stated by ************************************

      This is the first I have seen this complaint so apologize for the delay! I will try to make this as brief as possible. We try very hard to make every customer happy! Unfortunately, we do get one every few years with buyer's remorse, as it is in this case! The Whitakers came to our lot, looked thru all of our inventory and picked out a 2007 (16 year old) motor home! Being family owned and operated and different then most, we do check out the appliances on used units, we then schedule the walk thru class to show customers that everything works and how to operate everything! The whitakers did this class and accepted delivery! a week later called to say they would like new tires (around $4700) and a few other things! We again reminded them they bought a used motorhome, the tires were fine not unsafe, but are on a used motorhome and probably need to be upgraded at some point, & saving so much money buying used , thats apart of owning a RV , we do not rebuild used units after a customer takes delivery and was clear to me they were just trying to find any way to return the unit. They sent multiple threatening letters from a lawyer I replied to and explained the same thing as I did with them, and now you the BBB. We follow every rule and do everything we said we would, But replacing tires on a 16 year old motor home after the fact is not realistic.  I hope they are out using it and making memories! Thank you ***************** . I also have every document signed by them accepting the unit at the time of delivery!
