    On Mar 25, 2022 ***** tire put 4 new tires on my **** 4runner.Approximately 10 days before today ( 10/12/2022) I made an appointment to be the first appointment for the day and the appointment was made for 8:30 am 10/12/2022 When I arrived at 8:27 I explained AGAIN what I wanted done (tire rotation,oil change, possible alignment, flashing tire pressure light flashing on dash and squeak since having new tires put on 03/25/2022. I told one of the employees that there seems to be a little sloppiness and pulling left and or right with the steering wheel while breaking hard. He told me that was the breaks not the alignment. I asked if they check breaks when installing new tires and he replied NO, and another customer looked over and lipped WOW. I brought this to the attention of the employee and he said, "We don't check the breaks because we are to busy".I saw this person walk around for a while and at approximately 8:45 I got my keys and started to leave when He said are you leaving. And I said, yes and explained it took over a week to set this appointment up. And he said I was not scheduled until 9 on their books.

    I checked with my crew about this matter and this is what I got. Never in the history of my company have we ever made pin-point times for any *********************** that we do just because there are so many variables that can come up during various services that we offer. The customer in question was scheduled for 8:30 am 10/12/2022 for a oil change, tire rotation and front end alignment (which when combined takes 1 1/2 to 2 hours) which he was made aware of at time of scheduling. We was asked if he could leave it and he mentioned that he must wait.  When he arrived at approximately 8:30am the customer that was scheduled at 8:00 was still being serviced. I was told that when the said customer arrived he mentioned that he is a busy man and does not have much time. We told him that the customer that was ahead of him was not done yet and that we would pull his in as soon as that one was done. Apparently this was not acceptable to the customer so he asked if we could just inspect the brakes and he would be on his way. My tech told him that the wheels must be removed to do proper brake inspection and that we can look at brakes during tire rotation and the customer said my tech should find another job if he can not inspect brakes with the wheels on the vehicle. 
    We have been in business for 46 years now and our record and ****** reviews will show you that we are a company goes above and beyond what most customer's expect. I am very sorry that this customer was not happy but we did all we could do. I was told that the customer that he mentioned that said WOW  said this in regards to this customer's attitude.

    I need to know if it is true that when I had S&S install 4 new tires they (S&S tire) did not check my brakes.  This is what an employee told me.  See case # *******.  If this is true then I can not trust them (S&S TIRE) with my vehicles.

     

    If this is NOT TRUE I would like to proceed 1st appointment  to do everything minus an oil change.  see case # *******5

    I am rejecting this response because:  Question was not answered in regards to employee saying "we do not check brakes when installing new tires because we are to busy".  IS this true?   yes or no

    Did S&S tire check my brakes when installing my new tires?  yes or no

    Is it possible to get answers to these simple questions?

    Not answering these simple questions concludes that I can not get the truth from S&S tire.

    If this continues without answers to my questions I will conclude that S&S tire DOES NOT check brakes when installing new tires and I will continue passing this information on to consumers.

    in response to ****************, A brake inspection at time of tire rotation is considered a convenience that we provide as time permit's and when qualified tech is available. If on this particular day we were ****** busy, then and there was no tech available then we would not be able to do a proper inspection. So to answer the question I would have to say no S & S Tire did not have a tech to make a proper brake inspection while doing the tire rotation or new tire installation.
