    On January 25th, 2024 I purchased a 2014 **** Escape from In-And-Out Auto Sales LLC located in ********, **********. The car was priced at $9,621.49 and my down payment was $800.00. To date I have made a total of $1,229.00 in car payments. The car dealership told me that the car had all of its original parts and was safe and ready to drive. A couple of weeks after I bought the car the check engine light came on and not long after that it broke down on me while I was driving it. I was able to take it to *********************** mechanics by trailer to see what was wrong with it. They told me that 4the turbocharger, caliconverter, and engine were all damaged and needed to be replaced. The mechanic told me how the engine was not the original engine the car came with and explained it to be like an engine grabbed from a scrap yard. The quoted price to fix all of these problems was originally $10,000 but has since risen to $17,000. Around April I called the business to try and see if we could find a solution to this problem. They told me that they could take it into their own auto shop to do a diagnostics and thereafter fix the problem at my own expense. I called multiple times and asked to speak to management or supervisor but they would not give me their name and I asked for the dealership owner name and phone number to try and resolve issue through owner but the manager talking would not give me his own name nor the name of the owner as it was his purpose of position to fix all issues as to not bother the owner. The issue I had with this is how that same mechanic shop has labeled this car as safe to drive, ready for sale, and with all original parts. I have since still been making my payments on the car but have not been able to even drive it or turn it on as it has completely stopped working.
