I received a bill from Fine Dental Arts indicating I owed them $616.50 for services provided over the month of October indicating my insurance had covered $1,811.50 of $2,428.00 worth of services. When I received the first set of services I paid $718.90 (on 10/11/23) and at follow up service I pain an additional cost of $103.20 (10/3/23) these were both out of pocket expenses that at the time I was told cover my full cost of services beyond what insurance would over. This current statement does not show the out of pocket payment I've already made and they were dishonest at the time of these transaction in telling me these are the costs I would be charged for their services. I have bank statement to show these paintment amounts back in early October and why it has taken four months to procure a bill that does not show my past payments is unethical. I want full transparency from Fine Dental Arts around their accounting for my services and an explanation of why it took four months to produce a bill for costs I was told were already paid.

    Dear *** or Madam,
After reviewing the account we discovered that patient has not paid for the service for over 6 months. The remaining balance due was related to the amount that insurance supposed to pay and they denied the payment for the crown.

Insurance is a benefit for the patient and we cannot warrant the payment from insurance and it is patient's responsibility to pay for the service that was rendered regardless of insurance payments. However we did not send

this balance due to collections and also patient instead of contacting us and discussing the matter with us filed a complaint to BBB. We would like patient pay for outstanding balance as soon as possible.

If you would like to discuss the details, please contact us.

    Best Regards,
    Fine Dental Arts
