      I recently experienced a nightmare daylong project with Attic Crew to clean out my crawlspace and attic. I cant believe how dishonest and unprofessional theyve been from start to finish.1) They began the day planning to do work that I had explicitly told their technician I didnt want done. 2) They asked me to pay $4,000-$5,000 on the spot when they discovered a mold problem during the work. When I asked why the technician who did the estimate hadnt mentioned mold, the project manager said that technician has been making a lot of mistakes lately and causing problems. After doing some research, I found out that technician" is their sales manager. No other professional who had inspected those spaces had mentioned a mold problem. 3) They finally sent me a revised invoice after I had to repeatedly request it as the work was being completed. They also told me that I would get a $500 discount for their mistakes. Then they presented me with an additional $400+ charge at the end of the day that they hadnt included with the revised invoice. When I asked why I hadnt received this second invoice earlier, their office manager told me sometimes emails dont send. 4) I discovered two days after entering the crawlspace that there were still rodent droppings throughout it that they hadn't cleaned. See the photo on this review. The crawlspace also still smells strongly of rodent waste, indicating they didn't fully sanitize it. 5) They have not responded to my recent email detailing these problems.

      I looked for prospects to remove and replace the insulation in my attic. When *** from Attic Crew arrived, he went into the attic and said I have a bad mold problem. He went through the process and showed me a video of what they do. I apprehensively scheduled an appointment for them to come in and remediate the attic and replace the insulation. The day the workers got there on June 15, 2022, I texted *** the salesman if the workers are actually employees of the company because three of them looked no older than 16. He threatened to shut down the project and told the workers to leave. The supervisor contacted me and gave me an ultimatum and said if you dont have 100% trust in me, I cant do this project. He also said to stay away from the workers and dont talk to them. They eventually did it. When he originally came to my house, he showed me a video of their whole process. I also have a recording of him telling me what the process would be. None of it happened. I found out that the mold remover they used was MR86; when *** was trying to sell me on the company, he said they use an eco-friendly product for mold removal and a fog machine. He also said they use a nontoxic fungicide. They used a bleaching agent, sodium hypochlorite. Rmr 86 is listed as an environmentally hazardous substance. No fog machine was used. I believe that when *** came to my home and tried to sell me on their company, he practiced false advertising, claiming that they would use a fog machine and remediate the fog. They did no such thing. All they did was spray it with bleach. I am low income and disabled. I paid a lot of money for this, and I was taken advantage of.

      In regards to the following complaints made by ********************* (As stated on our company system) We apologize for any inconvenience that she is having dealing with our company.

      **** reached out to our team on May 31, 2022 for the following Issues being " New insulation in attic and crawl space . There is some Ghosting in my living room." As this being a new term to us in the office during the booking process for a free inspection she provided us the following information to what the meaning on "Ghosting" meant which was Ghosting, to a builder or painter, refers to apparently unexplainable dark streaks or patches on walls, ceilings, and carpets. A sance won't help you deal with these ghosts. They are actually caused by the slow buildup of dust, soot, and sometimes mold, and there are several root causes behind the buildup.

      After this information was exchanged we set **** up for a free inspection with our inspector *** for June 15, 2022. During this inspection **** had agreed to the estimate given to her by *** and which was signed as well. Unfortunately, Our company has not worked with this type of machinery or equipment stated above as a "Fog Machine" for this mold remediation process.

      On this invoice for our mold remediation it is under "Remediate Microbial Growth In Attic Area" with the description as "Including Removal Of All Mold On Rafters, Joists And Underside Of Roof". No where on this invoice or in writing does it state we were to use such equipment. Our team has not used this equipment in the past nor till this date which raises concerns on what was said verbally during this time with *** and our client **********************

      As the date of her project being June 24, 2022 We had a team of 4 one being the project manager on site to insure all work was being done properly and to lead this project, As for the remaining team mates being the workers. Unfortunately, We cannot control the appearance of others and some of our workers look very young but no one under the are of 18 is hired with our company.
      We did request our client **** to not bother or be near our workers due to safety issues being tripping over any machinery for the insulation removal and or any materials needed for her project being insulation trash bags etc. For all project we do create a plastic tunnel/barrier to prevent any dust, dirt or debris to reach the rest of the home and to minimize any damages to floors or walls.

      When speaking with **** in the past and with the recorded lines we have with her she did not once state or bring up any issues in regards to the mold remediation services that she received by our team previously. Nor any concerns about the fog machine that was not used during the time of her project. March 2, 2023 we received notice from **** that the mold has returned to part of her attic and we provided her an available date for April 14, 2023 since the prior dates given to her did not work with her schedule.
      April 6, 2023 We spoke with **** in regards to her appointment that needed to be rescheduled due to her schedule she was no longer to make our appointment for the 14th. Her new appointment date was set for April 28th, Which was made and received before and after photos of the remediation that was done in her attic.

      **** was provided with the following warranties incase of these sorts of matters , She has access to follow up appointments at any time we have availability and are whiling to work and accommodate all our clients schedules. She has the following warranties being :

      - 2 year warranty for Rodent proofing
      -5 year warranty for installation labor

      - 10 year Mold Remediation .

      We understand ******************** Concerns and are whiling to help and fix any issues she may have with our team if needs be.
      She is under warranty and we appreciate her giving us the opportunity to have helped her in this project. We would like for her to raise any further questions and concerns to our team so we are able to better assist her moving forward.

      Thank you,

      **********************;
