I'm still waiting on an answer from the Owner on refunding my overpayment. The excuse of him being really busy doesnt really work. I have emailed both emails i have for the owner left a detailed review. Left messages at both shops for the owner.10/2/23 i towed my car here for a transmission evaluation. After confirming with the front desk they were capable of replacing a transmission in a 99 integra if that was needed.10/10/23 they quoted 3100 to replace said transmission.I said no problem and paid half up front. They confirmed car would be done 10/13/23.10/15/23 Shop called me and said they cant find a transmission for this model. Shouldn't this have been verified prior to asking for the deposit.10/23/23 They still can't find a transmission. 10/30/23 The shop asked if i can find the transmission for them.11/3/23 I asked the shop what transmissions are compatible they said they weren't sure.12/8/23 I fly up to ******* buy the transmission and deliver the trans mission to the shop for them to install.12/12 Shop quotes 968 to install the transmission and said the car would be ready end of the week. Keep in mind I've already paid 1461.00 12/15 Called the shop and of course car wasn't started and wouldn't be finished until Monday because the have staff coming in that weekend to specifically finish my car.12/18 Called to see if it was finally finished and again a new excuse his staff called out on Monday....12/21 Car still isn't complete and new excuse is the mechanic quit without notice......12/22 I called left 2 voicemails no answer.12/26 They hired a new mechanic and he is going to get it done.12/27 Now there are missing bolts so they cant finish the job.The bolts are in ********. The shop gives me the drawing of what bolts are needed i go to ******** buy the bolts and bring them to the shop.1/3 The drawing of the bolts THEY gave me that THEY needed was wrong.....I drive around to local shops and find the right bolt they need bring it to the shop at 2pm and they said they cant put the bolts in until tomorrow keep in mind they close at 6pm.All of this for a simple 99 integra transmission replacement.i have emailed the owner twice no response and i have asked for the owners phone number to discuss this matter with no response back. He owns the Renton shop and Lakewood aamco.Based on this experience i high suggest you don't take your vehicle to either of these 2 shops.Initial Complaint

I had my 2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport Premium towed on 12/14/23 for a diagnosis appointment. It was determined that a transmission was needed and that it could not be rebuilt so one had to be ordered. The cost of labor and repair was to be paid for by ********* who approved the claim on 12/18/23. I called AAMCO numerous times and was told they were still waiting for the transmission. Finally I went to the shop on 01/10/24 and spoke to ************************* who said they have the transmission but had no workers to attend to my car. On 01/18/24 I got a voicemail from Darrren that they would be starting work on my vehicle. I called and spoke to ****** on 01/19 and he stated they are beginning to remove the transmission at 8:57am. At 11:45am ****** calls and said that a transmission line was broken and that they needed to call CarShield to get approval for the repair. A full diagnostic was already done on 12/14/23 and it was obvious AAMCO broke this piece while attempting to remove the transmission. It would be a risk for ********* to reject the current as well as this new claim so I asked to pay for the part to speed things up. The part was $507+ which online cost from $60-$120. ****** said I couldn't bring in my own part and it had to be from Cadillac for warranty issues and one was ordered and would take a few weeks to receive. On 01/31 I called and ****** said that Cadillac only sent 1 of 2 parts ordered. I asked when he would expect the other part and he would not tell me when he was expecting the remaining part. He would not tell me when my car will be finished. I tried to hold off from filing a complaint in fear of further damages that can be made and felt I was at AAMCO's mercy at this point as they have held my car since 12/14/23. I would like to request my vehicle be fixed as originally diagnosed without the extra $507+ in damage I am supposed to pay. It is not by coincidence the part they broke is one not covered by CarShield. They have had my car far too long and feel what is going on is criminal. I did call other AAMCO shops and found out that my specific transmission could be rebuilt as well. Nevertheless, not working on my vehicle due to no workers is unjust. It is very obvious they broke a piece upon removing the transmission and want me to pay for it with their unfair markup. I'd like help to get my vehicle repaired at no additional costs to me. My car is being held hostage at this point and I don't know what to do. Again, I am in fear of futher damage(s) being made. This car is my only, primary vehicle. Please help me.Initial Complaint

My car mechanic has had my vehicle for 4 months. I dropped it off drivable, during repairs they broke an irreplaceable part, potentially totalling my vehicle. They refuse to return my car, asked me to stop calling, and have said they screen my calls to not answer. I need help either getting my vehicle repaired or getting compensated for my vehicle and lots or rental car costs.Initial Complaint

I own a 2008 ***** 3.I didnt service the transmission properly.Took my car into AAmco in Renton on April / 2022. The service manage at the time kept telling me he would get to it. 3 managers and three months later. They finely said I need a new remanufactured transmission. I said ok. They quoted me $5,747.41. I put down the required down payment. Once they received the remanufactured transmission and installed it I paid the rest of the money (12/15/2022).The same day driving the vehicle, the transmission light lit up and the transmission started shifting hard. To it back to AAmco and ** the service manager said well its a good thing you have a warranty. I asked him how this can be a warranty if the new remanufactured transmission didnt work correctly in the first place. He said this is how goes and doesnt matter if it work correctly in the first place. The next four months and lots of trial and errors, they kept replacing parts say this is the problem. And every part they replaced didnt fix it. Then they decided that I need another remanufactured transmission. For the next six months, ** kept telling me Im high priority and the transmission is coming. I kept calling and stopping by AAmco saying when, and he would say they just called me and soon they will have an eta.On 07/20/2023 when I stopped by AAmco, ** said that the people that supplied them with the transmission says they cant get parts. He suggested we get a used but good transmission for my car and he will reimburse me the difference. I asked how much would that be? He said $500 to $700 dollars. I said no. Im tired of dealing with this and I just want my money back. I told him after going back and forth with them on this for a year and a half, I cant deal with this anymore. On May 2023 I had to purchase a new car.Now ** at AAmco said they will not refund my money until the supplier of the transmission gives them there money back. ** says he doesnt want to be stuck holding the bill.
