From my first experience with Renton Veterinary clinic, it was bad. When I first called in with a concern about my pet, I was rewarded with a rude receptionist that clearly, did not care about the well-being of their patients. They made me wait over 2 weeks to get my pet into see them. I eventually went to a ****** care clinic to find out what was going on. Found out it was a tooth issue. I then went o Renton vet and had an exam. They confirmed and said lets get him scheduled for a tooth extraction. They were a month out. I was very concerned about my pet because he was having a hard time eating. I was then given pain meds to he could eat without pain. It wasn't working. My pet was still declining in health. I had frequent phone calls and texts with the vet concerned about my pet because he was losing weight rapidly and then completely stopped eating. I had also brought my pet in for many appointments with the vet at this point. They kept putting me off and shoving meds at me. About 5 days after my pet stopped eating completely, I was very distraught and kept asking for help. I was told they guessed I needed to start force feeding him. I brought him in to get his antibiotic shot and they weighed him and realized he had lost more weight. Again, they did nothing and said if he is still not doing well in a couple of days, maybe we should bring him in for another exam. The next day I was able to get him into a different vet for the tooth extraction. After and exam, blood work and an x-ray, we found out that my pet had fluid around his heart and lungs as well as a heart murmur that was confirmed as HCM. There was no cure we could do to help him and the next day we had to put him down. Renton Vet should have listened to me found this out for themselves. They neglected to listen to me and ran on autopilot when taking care of my animal. I will not be returning to Renton Vet and I would suggest finding another vet if you want good care for your animals.
