      I am needing to cancel out a window contract from Renewal by Andersen due to deeper research about their company and products, as well as personal reasons that include being taken advantage. I have been told I cannot cancel this project even though my windows were never manufactured! This company has made this process a nightmare and I do not recommend them to anyone looking for windows. Overall they are an untrustworthy company and I will never be reaching out to them for future projects.

      Sorry to see that the homeowner has gone to post a review full of untruths.  The homeowner is attempting to cancel 5 1/2 months after she signed a contract with us.  Interesting enough, there has never been a call, email or text of impropriety shared with any of our team members or management team.  I believe things have changed in the homeowners life and this is in her way.  We offered her the opportunity to cancel per the contract and she is choosing not to accept the conditions of the cancel due.  Pictures and documentation can be provided to corroborate our statements below.  

      Homeowner signs contract 10/8/24

      3 day right expires 10/11/24

      Final measurement taken 10/21/24

      Order send to production floor 10/23/24

      Installation scheduled with homeowner and Project manager 10/30/04 

      Product due to arrive in our warehouse 12/18/24

      Install date was December *****th, 2024

      Dec 19th Homeowner reaches out to PM to reschedule install due to the cold weather.

      New install date of  April 3-4, 2025 agreed upon.

      January 13th, homeowner reaches out and asked to postpone install due to homeowner traveling to ** to help with new grandbaby

      new install date agreed upon August 4-5th.

      March 28th, homeowner reaches out "not through her PM" but through the call center asking to cancel.

      April 3rd homeowner called in again asking for status on her request, was given to Sales manager.  Sales manager provided her with her options.  

      1. Move forward with the project- No Penalty

      2.  We would allow the cancel of the project based on the contract and assess her a 25% cancellation charge.

      The homeowner from the start of the 25% cancellation fee has always stated that we never ordered her product.  We order the product within a day of the final measurement.  We have even provided her pictures of the of the shipping boxes that contain her product.  

      Her threats and promises of filing a review/complaint with the BBB in her latest email to find a resolution has happened and my response is as she was informed, if she would like to cancel per her contract we will honor the cancellation with a 25% cancellation fee.  

      According to the contract we are under no obligation to honor a cancellation this far down the line.  The product is here and we are poised for an immediate install fulfilling her contract. The homeowners claims do not align with the dates shared above nor with the conversations between the homeowner and her project manager.  

      There has been no mention of cancellation until her request on March 28th;  5 1/2 months after her signed contract.  Also worth noting all postponements have been initiated by the homeowner.

      They sent a girl up and down every street in the town of **********, ***** to ask everyone for their business. She didn't know what storm windows were when I referenced my own. She acted like custom sized windows would be cheap to replace. I told her if I ever did replace my windows that I would use one of the 20 local people who do the same thing instead of getting someone from Spokane Valley to do it. They send someone once a year to knock on my door and see if I've changed my mind. They send letters and flyers once to twice a month, for years. I will never use them purely based on how annoying they are. I hope they go out of business some day so I stop hearing from them.

      I have completed 2 rounds of windows with these guys and it was pleasure to work with them. Very professional and skilled installation. Informative and no pressure sales presentation. Great finance options. Highly recommend.

      Wish we would have gone with different window company. It took 5 attempts plus 2 no shows for three windows in our family room and over 1 year to complete. The one who knew what he was doing is installer *********************. Communication was a nightmare. The Operations Manager ********************* was condescending, arrogant and ********************* should have his job. ********************* should take a class on public relations from *********************!!!

Obviously this is not how we want any project to to go or how we want the homeowner to experience our product and especially our service. Thanks for you kind words about ****, he is an amazing teammate of ours and his ultimate goal is to make every experience great with our homeowners.it sounded like we had some product and hip[ping issues which of course have plagued us over the past year and half or so. The issue with the communication and of course your interactions with are team are not acceptable and have been dealt with in a way that we should never experience again. We are a service company and that is what we do. I would like to think we are perfect, which is what ********* for each and everyday the phones ring. That has not been your experience this phase and for that again I am sorry.Your experience and feedback is helpful in making us better.I do want to make sure that everything has been addressed and that you are very happy with the results with these last three windows. If not, would you let me know so we can work to getting resolved for you.Thank you again for the opportunity.
